it is a better than average roadside inn. I have stayed there several times in the past 3 years and it's been better each time. I will stay there again in September.

Comfortable beds, decent breakfast, super friendly staff. The bathrooms are a bit small, and the pool was closed.

Everything was good. Didn't have any problems.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The beds were comfortable. I had to scrub the tub from caked on mud. The bathroom was tiny. You can barely open the door all the way. The towels and washcloths were worn out and stained from a lot of uses.

We all quickly decided to ask for a refund. Surprisingly the clerk did not hesitate to give us all our money back, he was super nice and very understanding, he should be working somewhere else making better money, great guy. Will never look at this hotel again.

Every staff member was amazing . perfect location. Parking was a little cramped, but the building needs a little bit of updating bed was amazing and comfortable.

Our room and my daughter’s room was filthy. There was a dead bug inside a pillowcase: a bug smashed on the wall with a streak of bug guts; peanuts under the desk area; yellow stains on the sheets; a lot of dead bugs under the curtains; and what appeared to be a mouse hole in the wall. We left and found a clean room at the Holiday Inn Express. We have pictures and requested a refund.

It is a good hotel at a very good price. The breakfast was decent and areas were all clean.

Property is easily accessed off the interstate with lots of parking. Room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurants and amenities close by, would recommend and stay again.

Staff was friendly. We requested a ground floor room and he got us one. Room was pretty worn out but clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a hole in the wall so the check in person gave us a newspaper and tape to put over it so our cat wouldn't go into it. There was a garbage can outside that was overflowing and contents strewn about. Breakfast was okay. Hard boiled eggs were disgusting. Scrambled eggs were like mini pellets because they kept chopping them up. Close to on/off exit so that was convenient. We have stayed here before due to this convenience.

There is NO WAY this hotel should have an 8 rating! The entire place is run down and ragged, the lobby, halls, and elevator are super dirty, the room smelled bad, and I almost fell into the floor because the desk chair had a missing wheel. AWFUL, and I don’t recommend anyone stay here.

This property was adequate for a stopover. The complementary breakfast was good. It was convenient to a few restaurants.

Unfortunately the location is noisy. There are train tracks adjacent to the lot and runs fairly late. The toilet and tub leaked water. The room was dusty and in need of a deep clean. For a one night stay it worked. Staff was pleasant

One room we checked in to was dirty, had not been cleaned at all. Another one of our rooms had so much dust. On top rim of lamp shade. Bathroom walls showed wear and walls bubbling and cracking. Tv remote didnt work. Staff were ok however needed some initiative to provide clean room. They did not believe us when we told them room was dirty.

The sides of the mattress and mattress cover were covered in stains.

I booked this stay on Expedia and somehow the date got changed. I did stay the night I intended to stay and I expained this to both Expedia and the hotel. They refused to refund the day that was accidently booked. I will never stay here again or use Expedia! I had this happen one time with Booking and they instantly refunded the wrong date. I tried contacting both Expedia and the Hotel.. no response.

Staff was really nice. I asked for a floor on the lower level due to my husband being on crutches and was given one. The room was clean. It was quiet. We got a good night's sleep. Will stay there again.

Staff was friendly and the room and property were generally clean. The parking lot was not very well laid out. The bathroom was so small that it was almost impossible to open and close the door while inside. If I ever book this property again I will have to insist on an accessible room just to be able to use the bathroom.

Hotel was nice. Bedrooms are small. Bathrooms are tight. Had a little smell in the room as if there was a smoker in the past. Little musky. Great for a night or two. Have to cross a large road to get to dinning or walk along highway over the bridge and through some grass. Not horrible. Just not lit up enough to see your step. No sidewalks.

Room was fairly clean but did have a smell to it. The overall condition to the hotel probably could use a good cleaning as well.

BEWARE Upon checkin there were pieces of dry dog food beside the TV and 2 stink bugs on the curtain. We were tired and also not ones to complain so we just went to bed. Next morning we checkout and later find a $250 charge on our acct. I call the hotel to inquire and was told we were charged for smoking in the room. I explained that there was absolutely no smoking in the room and the manager said she would “go up and smell then call me back” I did not hear back. I have been dealing with them all day, finally speaking to the General Manager. I am currently waiting to see if this will be refunded. He was going to call me by end of day, havent heard back from him either. I have never in my life been accused of this nor gone through such an ordeal. Its crazy to me that they can “deem” you smoked in the room and take $250 just like that. I am an expedia Platinum VIP member as I travel alot. I do not normally leave reviews but this needs to be put out there. Go somewhere else if you dont want to be stolen from!

Definitely could use a facelift. Room smelled old/possibly moldy when we got there. AC unit made a ton of noise. Rooms could use a good deal of updating/ better cleaning. Dogs barking, lots of noise very early morning.

It was a good hotel not sketchy,relatively clean,I’d do 7.5…but if you are a bigger person DONT stay here the bath room is so small it’s almost a closet..easy on and iff highway…typical hot food cheaper breakfast , terrible coffee…but it’s free. Yeah I’m sticking around 7.5

Upon arrival we found out the pool was closed, they said for maintenance but it looked like it had never been opened for the summer as the hard cover was still on it. We had to have our key card reprogrammed every day, a little inconvenient when you are on the 4th floor and have your hands full, to have to come back down to the lobby. The last night we were there and had to go to the front desk to be rekeyed, we noticed a sign that said there had been a water line break and shouldn't drink the water for 2 days. Had we not stopped we would have not known about this. The vending machines were out of bottle water. I feel better communication should have been taken to inform the guests, the next morning we asked if the coffe was okay to drink due to it using tap water and they had no clue. We chose not to drink it to be safe. The hotel was clean and comfortable otherwise and the location was very convenient

Outdated pool, was not working beds were not that comfortable. The breakfast was good and early.

If you want to sleep and breathe in black mold.. go be a guest! Absolutely disgusting.. from the chipping paint everywhere, to the brown stains and dead bugs on the bedding, and the black mold ALL over the AC unit! Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy!

Property needs updating

Very disappointed - would not stay again. We booked the property specifically for our kids to use the pool on an overnight stay. We found out only on arrival that the pool was closed indefinitely for maintenance. Additionally, our initial room wreaked of urine/body odor, and we asked to switch to another room - that wreaked of smoke. At that point, I was so frustrated that I just didn't want to deal with another switch. The bathroom was also very small. The only saving grace was the incredibly kind front staff and decent breakfast in the AM. Please note that I am not typically a picky person and try to review as objectively as possible. I generally just want a clean room - especially when it's just a stopover. This did not even fit that bill.

The entire hotel looked worn, which you notice immediately upon entering. The pool had terrible chipped paint at the bottom. The key card failed multiple times. In the bathroom there was folded up dirty towels. The bathroom was also so tight I could barely turn around. I felt incredibly misled after seeing pictures and reading reviews. The only positives were the friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable bed. I do not recommend this hotel.

We just stayed overnight but it was quiet, safe, and a nice room.

First room smelled like dog. Very strong dog odor in the first room. Went bavk downstairs upon chevk in to ask for another room. Staff was rude. Said i was nasty to her and all I said was truth and homesty about the room situation. She apologized later after setting up a different room.

The hotel was just ok. What really jarred me was a large stand of Christian books right in the lobby. Could not be missed. As someone who is not of the Christian faith, I found this a bit offensive and curious for a public facility. I do not believe any public business should be in the business of promoting religion or politics. I will never stay at one of these hotels again.

First, we walked into the room and it SMELLED something awful, the pillow cases had a yellow tint to them, lastley i noticed a nasty stain on the side of the matress and that sealed the deal...WE WOULD NOT STAY HERE FOR FREE IF OFFERED!! We didnt stay the night and went to somewhere else. I need a refund from Expedia.

Breakfast was good. The room door lock was not working properly. It took multiple tries and required shoving the door open. There were people smoking right at hotel entrance, so lobby was smoky. It also seemed like people had been smoking in stairwell.

Hat it when they local hotels know a graduation is happening and jack up the price. Breakfast was better than expected ( Hampton Inn is always better but no rooms were available.

With a pet this hotel was perfect. We also hauled a cargo trailer and the parking lot was well lit. Breakfast was plentiful and coffe was hot. We will definitely keep this hotel on our must stay places.

After driving almost 11 hours to show up to a dirty hotel . Went inside to check the room before bringing my whole family and belongings in thank god I did! I walked on a floor that smelt like weed, walked into a room that was absolutely disgusting, pulled the sheets on the beds back to find little rust colored specs all over the mattress. DONT STAY HERE.

Also, they double charged me and refused to fix the error. Very rude on the phone when trying to solve the issue.

Place had dirt in the phone cradle that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Bed covers had hairs on them and stains. When I called the front desk she told me to take off bed and bring it down to her at the desk.REALLY!! Then when I got there she said she couldn’t see any hair and proceeded to Argue with me. Again, REALLY!! Toilet seat so loose I nearly fell off. Her answer to why all the hair on the bed sheet was is because it’s a pet room. Oh and the stink bugs on the curtains, “oh yea, we’ve been having a real problem with them this year. Don’t worry, they don’t sting you”

The whole stay was a really great, but the best part was the lady who checked me in- I did not catch her name but she was so helpful and cheery! The room was clean and comfortable would happily stay again!

The lady the next morning was very friendly. Then again that night when we came back the first was back, she didn’t even say a word. The room appeared nice, then we found black hairs in our tub on our toilet & all over the bed. The bathroom was not cleaned well. The tub was slippery like soap scum slippery. The carpet could use cleaning. The bed was so hard we both tossed and turned. And the pillows were like throw pillows for a couch. My husband enjoyed the breakfast. He said his favorite was the cinnamon roll waffles. The selection is good tasted good and was hot! Hotel needs upgrades and better cleaning, and improve night staff welcoming guests. Friendly behavior goes long way. A simple smile can change the way someone’s day/night. It can change the way they react to you.

What I liked was close to the highway, and what i didn't like how unkept and dirty this was!

The man at the front desk with what sounded like a German or Austrian accent was very friendly. Check-in was efficient, there was a carafe of lemon water (with fresh sliced lemon) in the lobby. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. The included breakfast was surprisingly good. One never knows what to expect, but there was eggs, bacon and sausage, yogurt, waffles, juices...It was very good.

Front desk ladies were super nice, it's a hotel what can you say? I got the kids room cause I have kids, sheets were stained and had hair on them. Big surprise, it's a hotel. My kid made noise, we yelled, we laughed and we cried. What an experience.... kids in a hotel sucks.... if I was a baller-adjoining rooms.

very aspect was fine except for the bugs crawling on my wall. I was informed they were harmless. changed rooms. staff found my extra set of car keys in my first room when l checked out . They had identified them as mine. Was very appreciative of that.
