    Booked my stay a week in advance. Got there and my room was confirmed by the main desk girl. I got the keys and headed to my room, opened the door, but someone elses luggage was in there. Went back to the service desk and told the same girl that someone left their clothes, but was then told that my room was taken already. I asked what they could do for me, but they didnt take responsibility for their mistake and blamed me for using this app to book. Ive used this app many times before and had never had this issue. The rest of my day was ruined because I could not find another hotel with availability, all because of their mistake.

    Booked on Expedia after a flight delay forced overnight stay. Took $90 Uber ride only to be told at front desk they were sold out and would not honor online reservation. We were told Expedia inventory was never accurate. So then why do they use Expedia if they are so unreliable? No other hotel availability in the area, so another $90 Uber ride back to the airport to stay overnight in the terminal for our early morning flight. Very disappointed in the way the hotel handled a confirmed reservation.

    Never stayed here- but they charged me for it anyways even though they overbooked their hotel and cancelled my stay when I showed up. Will never use Doubletree Hilton for anything and will no longer use hotels.com as they can’t be bothered to respond the their clients concerns

    I like the remodeled rooms. I didn't like the fact that the ADA Shower Chair was broken when I tried to shower. I was very disappointed that a chair was not available for me. I specifically requested a Shower Chair in my request at booking. I was assured that one would be available. One was not. I asked for a discount or to be moved at the front desk but was not answered when i was present. i had to leave for my tournament and was not aware they were going to move me. i missed several calls but I was at the tournament all day. When i did arrive back at the hotel, i was informed that they would move me to an ADA Room. Also, the elevators had railings that fell off when I grabbed it to help stabalize myself as I'm mobility impaired as well as an amputee.

    Aside from the cleanliness issues, the hotel was just average overall. The room amenities also felt outdated, with only an older coffee maker and refrigerator provided, and no microwave in the room. While the staff made a positive impression, the housekeeping standards definitely need improvement.

    The location and the pool were the only positive aspects of our stay. I would never stay here again. This hotel was a disorganized mess from the moment we checked in. We arrived at night tired from traveling ready to sleep. We had made reservations weeks in advance and checked into what we were told was the last available room. We get into the room and the bathroom door was locked. Staff had to go get tools so we could access our bathroom. We brush our teeth and learn the sink was backed up. In the morning they fix our sink. We leave for the day and come back to a tub that backed up while we were gone - black smelly gunk all over the tub (where we were drying our swim suits). I had to wake up my sleeping kids to walk them to another floor to sleep in at midnight but the hotel couldn't guarantee us that we could stay there so we had to leave our suitcases in our first room with the gross tub. The next morning we were told we could stay in the new room so we spent our morning moving our stuff to the room. I don't want to blame the staff that were trying to accommodate and help but this hotel was simply a disorganized mess. They didn't offer to compensate - not so much as a free breakfast. Staff did try to help problem solve but I was frustrated. I don't think they once apologized for our experience and I felt no sense of urgency that they cared how difficult this stay was on our family. I suspect housekeeping locked the bathroom because of all of the known plumbing issues yet they put us in that room anyway. Then lets talk about breakfast. We paid for breakfast tickets - I didn't realize it was a sit down only (I wanted fast buffet style). Service was slow, coffee was cold and watery and the hotel only issued breakfast tickets daily that we had paid for in advance. So every morning we had to take time to get the tickets for the next day. Parking.     Only thing my son left his jacket in the lobby the day we arrived. I noticed it as we were checking out and asked did they happen to have it in the lost and found. I even drove 30 min back to the hotel to ask in person. The front desk told me no one turned it in. I counted this as a loss, when I arrived home in CA the next day, I get a call from their manager saying they found my son’s jacket and it’s been in lost and found for 2 days. I just wished they would have taken the time to look instead of giving me the typical prompt.As a single mom of 2, I know my 9 year old son should have done a better job of keeping track of his things but I wished someone would have checked all areas before saying no. We traveled back home without jacket, had to let him use mine. They did offer to ship it to me if I send them a prepaid shipping label but the hassle of that was not worth it. With that said, you will enjoy the castle hotel and Denver!

The bathroom wasn't very clean, but after traveling hours to get to this hotel we were too tired to care or bring it up. The thermostat in the room also didn't work properly. The fridge was smaller than a mini and we couldn't put our plate in it (the plate was standard size) , so the code was either eat our food immediately or discard it because of temperature safe zones. For the price of this hotel it didn't uphold the Hilton standard, and I'm extremely disappointed.

    You can hear the noise from other rooms. Throughout the night I could a couple fight next door and then kids crying and screaming. The complaint isn’t about the other guest having these situations. The complaint is on the poor quality of sound proof at the time of build the hotel

    We stayed there 3 nights. Classy wonderful hotel. Huge tasty fresh breakfast. We shared a Denver omelet, it was plenty for two. Staff are awesome. Bed so comfy. Clean and quiet rooms. Very pleased.

    Breakfast was less than a continental wrapped in a restaurant environment. Horrible. Both of us weren’t feeling good all day steer it. Room had dust and spider web lint hanging from ceiling, super slow bathroom sink drain, sour smelling kitchen sink drain, half size fridge inside cabinet. Definitely not a 4 star

    Ghettoest Hilton ive ever stayed at, we had to be moved twice due to dirty rooms (poop in toilet, pubes in bed).Finally manager was kind enough to put us in the master suite at no extra charge. It was very deceiving from pictures. Staff was amazing but place is very run down and house keeping has no idea how to clean rooms. Severe plumbing issue as every room smelt like sewage. Staff was great place is run down and ghetto.

    Standing shower was filthy stains on floor, sliding doors have rust on the metal. Wall paper on bathroom looks like it’s about to come off . Silicone on the edges of the wall look unprofessional . It used to be a good place to stay but this will be my last stay here at this particular location. Elevator takes a good while to come down to 1st floor . The only thing that was good about the stay is the bed.

    Public areas were beautiful Room was poorly insulated Loud loud near elevator and needs to be drastically discounted. Lighting was so dark needed to use Smart phone to adjust AC. Bathroom so dark it was suitable for candlelight dinner nearly impossible to apply makeup! Daughter in law’s room was the same. No makeup mirror was offered as substitute. Wall mounted toiletries are unacceptable at this price NOT a Motel 6! No room service convenience store poor selection prices equivalent to a mini bar! Only $20 buffet offered on Sunday no menu orders.

    Staff was great. I loved the black out curtains. A designated smoking area away from main entrance was very thoughtful for smokers. The whole hotel smelled nice. The very low sitting toilets. The large gaps under the doors. The slow bumpy elevators. Pulling into property was a bit sketch at night because of neighboring properties.

    I did feel safe in the hotel although the location was convenient, Starbucks and Maverick sharing the parking lot, it was a little sketchy at night. One redeeming characteristic, free coffee in the lobby, was discontinued the morning I left. I stayed four nights, reasonable rate. They should probably bring the coffee back.

    The lady that checked us in and worked in the afternoon was great. Otherwise I would keep looking for somewhere else to stay. We got looked in our room, our door shot really hard or it wouldn’t close, the bed and pillows where not great, the overpriced breakfast should have been free, there is a lot of homeless people close to the hotel, but never bothered anyone, inside the hotel smelled like gas and you could smell pot at different times, and some of the front desk staff was not that friendly.

Tub is much more narrow and slippery than it looks, so be cautious when getting in and out. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will likely stay there again if in the area.

    Nice work out equipment in gym. Nice big rooms, comfortable beds. The only issue was our room was next to the elevator which was loud when trying to sleep and the ac was a little loud at times too, but overall great stay, costumer service was good and cookies and water were given at check in.

    Unclean. Staff didn't know what they were doing. We ended up leaving the hotel because sewage was backed up into our bath tub. We were able to get a refund which I am thankful for. It was unfortunate because my daughter named I stayed here a year ago and had a lovely experience. This time was a disaster and we will not be returning to this hotel. App won't let me upload pictures.

    Good enough. Loved the cookies. Mattress wasn’t super comfy. Bed was a Queen, not a king as I was told. Was put next to housekeeping so it was loud at times. No tub. Would’ve liked to take a bath.

    We were not made aware that the restaurant would not be open because it was booked for a private party. I needed to use the business office at check out was denied. I feel for the service and the inconvenience we should of at least received a discount. My husband use to love this location. We will never visit again

    Our stay was great. We have traveled to Thornton several times over the last 3 years visiting our son and his family. Since the first time we stayed at this hotel, we have always chosen to come here as our first choice. Room has always been clean and staff is very friendly. We have not tried many of the amenities since we spend so much of our time with family, but we have always enjoyed the breakfast as well. It's been a great place for us.

    We arrived at the hotel 2 hours early. Our rm was ready, but in order for us to gain access the front desk first asked for $50. Then her manager walked up and he said it would be a $25 charge. He then told us he has disabled our rm access until the original check in time. I feel the way it was handled was unprofessional.

    Overall we had a lovely stay. The bedroom was very spacious, and the beds were quite comfortable. The cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t that great, found a generous amount of hair in the shower. Also had a problem with our checkout time. We were told our checkout time was 12, then had housekeeping constantly knocking on the door since 9:30.

    I liked the room was quiet despite being located next to interstate 25. The staff were very professional and the room clean. The only thing was the first elevator was down for repair so the stairs or walk to the back elevator. Which was ok with me.

    Check out time is incorrect, its actually 11am despite 12pm written on back of door. At the time of check in, they were changing hot water boilers from 10am-3pm but we had yellow dirty water until 5:30pm until it cleared up. Only one elevator in the very back of building worked. House keeping entered our room one hour before check out and was banging on door. Luckily, we had the bar privacy bar so she wasnt able to open it fully.

    Our over all stay was good! The front desk workers were very rude though and became even more rude when we asked if they had cookies with no walnuts and just overall un pleasant and definitely let their face show how annoyed they are that you are even talking to them. Rooms were pretty clean only real complaint is if you need to microwave anything you have to walk the hall of the 1st floor to find one of the two that were available. Pool is also pretty small we got to enjoy it for maybe 10 minutes before a group of teenage boys came and made it hard for anyone to swim. There is a little snack shop area but you are better off going to maverick right next to the hotel.

    Staff was friendly. Hotel was beautiful and very clean. Nice view of the mountains from our room. Drinks at the bar were just ok and expensive for what they were. Many dining options nearby including a Starbucks across the parking lot. They stated they had a lot of late check outs and our room was going to be ready 1.5 hours later than the posted check in time. It was a bit frustrating, but we found some putt putt close by to kill the time and it all worked out.
