Our favorite place to stay while visiting family nearby. We come a couple times a year and this place is always consistently clean, comfortable and has the best breakfast! Easy check in and close to beaches without paying the beach hotel price. Love the spacious suites with full kitchen and living areas and that it is pet friendly.

For a family of five, the two-room layout with three beds worked perfectly for us. It provided enough space and comfort while still being very convenient. We stayed here for seven nights and enjoyed a wonderful vacation. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for family travel. We especially appreciate the spacious room setup, which made our stay much more relaxing. Overall, this is a great option for families on short trips or vacations, and we would be happy to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and practical place to stay. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Staff was great when we checked in. I heard they were having problems getting rooms ready. but they gave me an upgrade and checked me in some people were told it would be 15 to 30 min. We like staying here the location is good for us. the rooms have a different bedroom for the kitchen and front room. they do allow pets so we did have pet hair on the bathroom floor. A plus they do offer Breakfast free. overall a good stay and we will be back.

Breakfast is served daily from 7–9 AM, and for this price range, I thought it was very generous. Parking was also included, and there were plenty of spaces, so we never had any issues finding a spot. The room had an induction cooktop, microwave, and a large refrigerator, which was very convenient, especially when traveling with a young child and needing to prepare simple meals. One thing to keep in mind is that housekeeping is only provided once a week, probably because of the reasonable price. If you need fresh towels, you can bring the used ones to the front desk and they will exchange them for the same number of clean towels. It was not inconvenient for us at all. Overall, for the price, I think this hotel is a great value. The room was comfortable, breakfast and parking were included, the atmosphere was nice, and there was even a pool. We had a very pleasant stay. 5 stars!

The noise! The rooms surround the pool in the middle of the property. There was 0 sound barrier from the pool, so from 12 PM to 6 PM there was constant screaming from kids.

The rooms are large with enough space for the whole family. Nice separate rooms each had their own bathroom one with a walk in shower the other with a bathtub. Very quiet at night so able to get a good nights sleep.

Everything was wonderful! Lights hung around pool area was beautiful at night. Rooms were clean. It's like a little apartment with a full kitchen. Pots, pans, and utensils were provided. All staffs were welcoming and professional. Breakfast consisted of eggs, pancakes, bacon, cereal, bagel, bread, coffee, juice, etc. I gave 4 stars because the bacon were burnt each time they came out, but other than that, everything was great!

There were people that weren’t even staying at the property using the amenities, we couldn’t use the grills the pool the hot tub because a few guest invited several guest and stayed there all night, we didn’t sleep the guest below us had a party of 20-25 people in one room and they were up till 3 am and partying in the parking lot . Our check in was hours past check in because of housekeeping. All though the staff was nice the place was really inconvenient and I paid a lot for this I want a refund.

Someone knocked on my door all night. Someone was playing music all night. I left at 1am because the knocking wouldn’t stop and I couldn’t get a hold of the concierge.

--- My family and I recently stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Torrance Redondo Beach with my wife and our 11-month-old baby. This was our first time taking our baby to Los Angeles, and we wanted the trip to be something special and memorable for our family. The hotel looks nice in pictures and even appears nice when you first arrive. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue was cleanliness. We found ants and cockroaches in our original room, which is completely unacceptable—especially when traveling with a baby. As parents, you worry about your child crawling on the floor or touching things. Seeing pests in the room made us feel uncomfortable and stressed during what was supposed to be a special trip. To their credit, the staff did help us move to a new room after we reported the issue. However, even in the second room, we still found ants. While I appreciate that they tried to accommodate us, the fact that the problem continued made it clear that this was not just an isolated issue. When you book a stay for your family, you expect a clean and safe environment. Sadly, that was not our experience. In my opinion, this place may be more suitable for a single person who just needs somewhere to sleep, but it is not ideal for families with young children. Because of the pest problem, I would not stay here again. It’s very disappointing that what was meant to be a memorable first

I experienced bugs in my room. The staff at the front desk was really helpful but couldn’t do much about it due to facility being full, so I left to stay somewhere else and was reimbursed via Expedia.

So I like going to the Celesta because I usually love cooking when I rent rooms here. But on the particular night that I stayed the aisles in the kitchen were not working. So I couldn’t cook this time. I went back to the front desk and notified them of the problem. They did nothing to fix it.

The day manager was, Very rude and unaccommodating. I have been a Sonesta member and customer for5 years and stay at the Torrance Redondo ES suites often for medical treatment. I sometimes book through Expedia due to cheaper prices. She and Sara at the desk were nasty and I will never stay there again.

Breakfast spread was limited and the scrambled eggs which is the only egg they offered was overcooked everyday. We rather have food delivery after two days of breakfast. Room was clean and parking was plenty and safe.

The room was the perfect size for our family of five. It could have been a little more clean. There was hair in the shower and they didn’t have enough towels. We had to keep calling for them. The breakfast also wasn’t that great. Overall we had a good stay.

This hotel is like an apartment complex and has fulltime/longterm guests. It was noisy and weed smoky all nite. Parking lot was full of beaters and was hard to find a spot. Spacious room that was poorly cleaned and the sheets and blankets were tattered with holes. Breakfast was below average and hard to get because the space is very small and filled with lots of tenants.

The hotel is excellent. Esp. because the two bedroom suite truly provides two separate bedrooms with doors to the living room. We're pleasantly surprised that there were two separate full bathrooms too! Very clean and comfortable. The only drawback is there are a bit of noises at night due to the traffic passing by a nearby road. Staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was simple but good enough.

I love Sonesta Suites. This one especially nice. Really loved it. Not sure how they could pass ADA regulations with no elevators with three floors. So would not recommend for anyone with physical challenges. A little close to oil refineries.

We stay at this hotel on a regular basis. It is close to shopping, restaurants, parks, police department, Kaiser, and many local businesses.

Dishwasher almost fell out when we opened it, the shelves in the closets were very dirty, AC didn't work on second bedroom, toaster caught fire...

I like that someone helped me take my bags to the 3rd floor.

Once we got into our room, the AC barely even worked it was only coming out in the living room area. Our keys stopped working and we had to have them reset twice. The doors in the rooms would get stuck when attempting to open.

Upon arrival we noticed that some people actually lived there and the parking lot directly in front of the room had people smoking. The rooms are not like how the pictures look, don’t be fooled. There was blood in the parking lot area, too. The room was a great size but unfortunately our stay became a nightmare due to the cannabis and cigarette smells that were so excessive that our clothes inside our luggage were engulfed in this smell and we were forced to checkout. Staff did not help. I would not recommend this place.

This hotel was almost a mid point to both Universal Studios and Disneyland and was close to many beaches. Pretty nice accommodations although the bathroom was really small. Beds were comfortable, which isn't common in hotels we've stayed in before.

It appeared the suite had been cleaned but not restocked. A partial roll of toilet paper , one glass in the bathroom, no dishwasher soap seemed like it hadn’t been stocked properly for a four night stay. Breakfast was extensive but the hot entries were overcooked and the eggs watery. The bathroom had two pegs to hang towels and they did not dry overnight. Also one peg was coming loose.

This is my second time here and I really like this property. It’s clean, updated, and the staff is very friendly.

Overall it was great - lots of space, the decor is a little outdated, but not a deal breaker. Unfortunately no elevator, and made it difficult to carry large suitcases up 3 sets of stairs, but can't complain when not wanting people stomping around above you. The bathroom portion of toilet/shower tub is small, and we'd always hit ourselves with the door since you had to go in, move around/tuck in by the side of the toilet then close the door. The audio for the TV didn't work, so we used our tablet to for entertainment. Forgot to tell guest services when we checked out. Breakfast assortment was okay. Some of the food had an overcooked/rubber-ish texture. Having washer/dryer was handy, and they provided quarters and soap/dryer sheets (for purchase), and the room had a laundry basket which was helpful. would recommend staying here and will come back in the future.

The remotes for the Tv were filthy and the room smelled like smoke and dog. I had to buy Lysol disinfectant and wipes to clear around the place! If you’re going to have a hotel that allows animals, cleaning has to be throughly completed. The smell alone was horrible! When asked if another room was available, I was told that was the only one left. If you’re going to have a pet friendly hotel you should block out rooms. Guest without pets should not have stay in the same room. In addition the chair in the living room next to the desk was stained!! Sad!

This was a perfect hotel for my family before we went on our cruise

When we checked into our suite, we were initially impressed with the room layout, however on closer inspection, our room had not been vacuumed well. There were crumbs on the floor, hair on most of the towels and the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. The microwave and walls in the kitchen had residue from other guests on them as well. We asked for a new room and were moved into a different suite that was a bit cleaner but not completely clean either. Trying to get a refund for our room change (as we were downgraded from a double suite to a single) was a multi day process which still hasn't been resolved at this point. Other issues with Sonesta included no available front counter clerk, no towels at the pool, issues with our room keys, not adequate bedding in the room for the pull out bed, no wipes or towels in the gym to clean the equipment even after requesting some. Guests need to realize that it's not only a hotel but also a place where long term residents stay so there are different types of traffic to be aware of, like loud carpool noise early in the am.

Overall good trip with the family. 2 bedroom setup was great. Morning breakfast was fun for the kids. Expedia ad shows in room washer/dryer - these units do not have this. For the price I would book a house next time to have a washer and no stairs.

We had a lovely stay at Sonesta Suites Torrance. The 1 bedroom suite was tidy and spacious, perfect for a small family of 3. My toddler loved the pool area and enjoyed hanging out in there every time after breakfast. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Stayed the weekend for a music festival. The hotel was 3-miles away, but provided a comfortable stay and a more reasonable price than directly at the beach in Redondo

It was nice and quiet. They had just remodeled the place. I forgot to choose the option for handicap because my mom couldn't walk up stairs but they were very accommodating and found a room on the first floor.

It’s very clean, quiet, the room was lovely but also not close to restaurants or shopping. There’s no elevator and we were roomed in the 3rd floor so my boyfriend had to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor by using the stairs if I would’ve known that there was no elevator I would’ve informed them I am handicapped so they could put us on the 1st floor.

Didn’t want a handicap accessible but was given one. No coffee pot but coffee makings on counter, no paper towel rack, no luggage rack, bathroom basin counter small, couldn’t use for toiletries so ended up placing a chair next to basin. Receptionist at check-in not as helpful as I would have expected… didn’t even know what a luggage rack was. Breakfast hours are too short but person attending to the service was so nice and accommodated us by allowing us to get some breakfast just after 9:00am.

Comfortable stay for family of 6. Washer/dryer on site. Cribs are not pack and plays, but a metal mini sized crib, which my son kept getting his arms stuck in so he kept waking up throughout the night. The carpet had staples or nails sticking up where the carpet was next to the hard floor transition.

I had the pleasure of staying for my birthday. I was in town over the weekend. Room was nice and clean. But the fridge was very very old. Stained and not pleasing to the eye. As well as doesn’t really match the upgrades in the room. If they can replace that fridge hotel would be 4 to 5 stars.

Don't cone here. Staff is rude Shawntaye especially. When I got there Shawntaye made me wait 40 min to process the expedia room. They said they never got the change in reservations. They did that to get full price from me. Luckily, expedia fixed it. The a/c still doesnt work. We couldn't get the climate to go below 71 which is ridiculous for a high end place. Also they charged me 30 dollars for a soda and a sback so now I have to dispute that. Oh, and my dog is a emotional support animal and she charged me anyway after I told Shawtaye. NEVER COME HERE AGAIN

The hotel was really nice and loved that it was clean and spacious. We needed more blankets and towels and found blankets in the closet inside a bag. One of the sheets had dog hair. It is a pet friendly hotel so we could see why. When I tried calling for additional sheets and towels it wouldn’t ring at all. They also put me way at the back of the hotel and it was late so I didn’t feel comfortable walking to the front. I was also put on the third floor that only had access by stairs. Had they been able to be contacted from my room it would’ve been a way better stay.

We had a great stay for 5 days. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to us. The hotel was quiet and safe, the pool and hot tub were great, and the beds were comfy. The only issues we had was the tv had a lot of channels with static and breakfast was only open until 9am. But, like i already said, the stay was great and we would stay there again!
