Bel Air Motor Hotel

The room was not clean. The furniture had graffiti inside. I couldn't stay there because there was a cockroach in the room and I felt unsafe. Horrible experience from check in to check out.

staff seems to not want people to actually stay there, they try to upsell the pricing while saying they’re giving a “great deal” if you purchase online for the second day they will kick you out letting you know that’s your last day. if you pay cash they may give a discount up to $15-$20 but only then. be prepared for your consecutive days to start to rise with this reason or that reason. cleanliness of rooms is basic non resort post covid eww. not the hotels fault it’s hard to pay staff with the minimum wage so high and even then keeping them is another matter entirely. these ladies are given up to a hundred rooms a day and twenty mins is pushing it on timing to clean. leave it to a bunch of lazy stayers to leave the room a mess and filthy as all get out and poor maid in distress trying to get it to look decent let alone clean and sanitize? forget it it’s a pipe dream for smaller venues period. bring a spray bottle and a few rags and wipe down the floor and surfaces, it helps your socks and or feet stay one color and helps the entire stay trust me! of course the restroom, fridge, microwave and bed are the main focus of sanitation. this is a frequent police activity area and there is reason as to why.

Room is cleaner than most the others in the area and always has been.the staff is amazing here and they even worried about my pregnant dog, as did i, after a routine visit from pest control.. i’ve never encountered roaches and i wish i can say continue to not have had that issue , but i did have a few babies come in the room and yes, they died rather quickly before and after the treatment. they are diligently tackling the issue which is due to the growing transient issue from the recession. they take great care and pride in their work and the environment they provide to their guests! i wasn’t aware they accept pets at all and my baby having babies was accepted in like a family member and i wasn’t charged a fee! when we had a hiccup with a clients payment coming thru on time (very frustrating part of our pressure washing detailing and cleaning business) they allowed some leniency which was a relief from past experiences . the hot tub was a nice addition! the ac is kicking as well as the heater with no burning smell. Ample towels provided, no annoying knocks by maids trying to shove you out. room got a little bit of humidity condensation which left me amazed their was no mold anywhere, some neighbors were a little nosey but we all can be in sketchy places and this hotels always felt like a safe haven amongst the rest of the other hotels in the surrounding “strip”

Rooms very run down. Microwave was filthy. Furnishing looks like it's from the 60s. Lobby ice machine broken. Shower head not working/spraying properly. Housekeeping staff was friendly and did the best they could to address concerns.

More maintenance in general; also more often clean the couch covers etc. Put in a reading lamp on the table between the two beds so guests can read at night.

Nothing is likable Floors are dirty, towels have stain on them. Bed cover is thinner than a sheet with a stain on it. The headboard of the bed has sticky substance and is dirty Bathroom door does not close well and has pet damage on the bottom. Showerhead has no water pressure, there is cheap shampoo but no conditioner , the room smells bad the pillow and sheet smell bad. I rarely say this, but I wish I listened to my husband and did not book here . This is a motel not a hotel. I was in a hurry and needed last minute reservation and this popped up first on booking.com and I went for it. My husband warned me to make sure it’s a nice place and I was like, it says it’s a hotel so it should be ok, we weren’t looking for somewhere fancy , just a place to spend one night. But I wish I had checked more I don’t know how I’ll be sleeping here in all this dirt.

dirty bathroom towels, broken refrigerator, tv remote not fully functional, some lamps missing light bulbs, no blanket...just a sheet and something very thin on top of that sheet. front desk clerk said my transaction with book.com did not go through and that i would need to pay cash. i did pay cash but forgot to ask for a receipt. this resulted in being charged twice.

The room had the bare necessities that I needed. The parking was sufficient. The room needed repairs and renovations.

I stayed here under the impression it was a decent place from the rating but i was disappointed. The room was very dirty and worn down. The shower was not thoroughly cleaned, the walls had stains, and the couch was stained. I was not comfortable really touching anything around me and simple slept and left as soon as possible. I was surprised since the pictures showed a very different clean room compared to the one I got. I won't be going back here.

The first room I stood out was 212. There was mold on the walls. There wasn’t even a blanket on the bed. It smelled really bad. The TV wasn’t working and there was a big nail on the floor. I come back down to make a complaint that I want my money back and they said I would have to go through Expedia to get my money back because I paid for it on Expedia and he offered another room. Also, he said that I couldn’t get the refund back because it’s been more than an hour that I come down to make a complaint and he said it had to be 10 to 15 minutes then he could refund the money but I was not aware of thatwas not aware of that and I was just forced to stay because it was 830 when I came down offered another room room 104 and it was just as bad and the air in the room doesn’t work and it’s really cold and it’s just blowing cold air out.

It was close to the venue.I was attending Room looked nothing like the photos online, discolored / dirty floor tile, stains on mattress and in bathtub, pubic hair in bathtub. Whole room smelled like cheap floral disinfectant. Homeless people outside of hotel and across the street in park. Traffic pretty loud until midnight.

Location was convenient. Insulation for sound not good. Foot traffic above us and through hallways kept my wife up all night, so we left early to find another hotel to stay at.

Driving in first impression not the best. First room I was given was open and not cleaned yet. Given another and now went from 2 queens to a king. I was ok with that. But my son opened the drawer and it said “send di@& pics to ———“. My kids didn’t feel safe. I tried to get a refund and go elsewhere. He instead moved me to a 3rd room. This one was not better. The lamps had foil or tape holding the light fixtures. Comforter and curtains had burn marks. It seemed like a place where hotel vouchers for those trying to get back on their feet are excepted. Not recommended for a family.

Room is not fully cleaned all around, they have a seat in the room that's filthy. Bed is uncomfortable, you can feel the springs..

Traveling for business and this spot was great!

Condition of the room was much worse than the pictures indicated. Lots of weird stains on the walls, chunks missing from furniture and fixtures, light not working, and so on. Good neighborhood, but it was pretty loud with so many people coming and going from the motel all through the night. Towels and sheets were nice, new, and clean though.

We needed a place to stay for a few days. We were really pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was! It was a great value, the staff was helpful and friendly. I have to admit, I was really surprised at just how nice it was!

The property was not the same as of the pictures on Google. The place had a bad smell, no hair dryer, A/C unit was dirty and the cool setting didn't work. The small refrigerator was so noisy and the bed was so old that you could feel the springs hitting your back. Next time I'll stay at another hotel.

The place was so dirty and trashy that we didn’t end up staying there. We walked into the room and walked out and they refused to give us our money back.

I've been here for nearly two weeks, feel very comfortable, and as if i have everything i could need in a place to stay.

This property has roaches. Its filthy! I asked the manager for a discount or a refund, and he said "why"? I literally took him to my room to see the roaches and other insects on my floor, as well as the dirt, crap and nasty toe nail clippings under my sink. He tried to pass it off as if it wasn't that bad. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

The t.v didn't work and the AC unit was old and filthy pieced together smelled like I don't know what . And they are cat fishing people with the pics on the website vs. the way the rooms really look ! Lol No joke !

It was my first and last time staying at this place. To begin with the rooms are filthy, at least the downstairs room are. The owner is very disrespectful, he doesn't seem to know how to talk to people only yells at people. I asked to please be moved to a different room because the room he gave me when I checked in was filthy, then he comes yelling at me and my partner while we still moving our things to the upstairs room.

This seems to be a very chaotic area. There are several homeless people shouting downstairs at the hotel. Inside the hotel, there are unidentified individuals banging on other room doors, causing a commotion. The area is filled with drug users, giving a very unsafe feeling. Moreover, the facilities are very outdated and in poor condition. I do not recommend staying here.

Place looked scary i didnt end up staying

Besides the profanity literally carved in the headboard, the cigarette burns in the bathtub, and the errant hairs in the bedding, the vibe was very murdery. I slept fully clothed. Only go if you are paying hourly. Bring hand sanitizer.

Manager was extremely accommodating and patient with me despite having some issues at check in due to having lost my wallet and an on-line booking through another site. He accommodated us with an early check-in for a reasonable price. After dealing with that and completely exhausted we couldn't wait to get to our room. I was pleasantly surprised at how much its changed since my last stay. It appeared to have been remodeled, and everything was extremely clean, and was just like new. I was impressed at the attention to detail. A/C, Wifi & Cable TV, Fridge and Microwave! We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for about a week. I must say that i prefer the Belair over any other hotel/motel in this area. & we look forward to our next stay! 5 stars from an experienced cross county traveler! Thanks again Belair!!!

You get what you pay for.

it's essentially a $60-70/night motel going at a higher rate but it doesn't deserve that much. room was clean but the condition was horrible. ceiling had been patched and was coming loose, scuff marks on furniture, floor, and sideboards. hard floors everywhere mean that any sound made in the hallways outside is very audible. bedding was pretty thin, bathroom tiny. i won't be staying there again. it was clean and served in a pinch but don't expect much.

The room was very nicely set up, a little dirty but nothing to bad. In a great location for downtown Tustin and very friendly helpful staff.
