In cleaning they need to clean better their floors they were too dirty and sticky ... everything else excellent

Not a place I would stay for long periods, pool has way too much chlorine, and the pond in the front makes you feel bad for the fish. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was okay. I’d stay again if needed.

Do not go here unless you want to be scammed. The room was not cleaned at all, lots of visible mold in the room/bathroom, dark/white stains all on the furniture, appliances barely functionings, 1/2 ac working in the room. Multiple Flying large roaches inside of the room coming from the furniture inside the room, the vents, and from the hotel hallway under the room door we were staying in. Extreme mold/wet smell from the moment you walk in through the front hotel sliding glass door throughout the whole hotel. Huge hole in the ceiling by the stairwell on the third floor, around the size of half a sedan car. Roaches coming out of the hole in the ceiling by the stairwell. We had to flee mid trip because roaches were attacking us in the room. The bed sheets were dirty with visible stains and no case cover the comforter. The floors extremely sticky. The room we stayed in was not clean at all before we checked in. I question if they this hotel has the correct staff to room ratio to ensure these rooms are getting cleaned. Managers were not in on the weekend/on vacation so couldn’t help us. Hotel staff is having multiple issues with multiple guests with the same if not similar issues and left empty handed because they have no real management which is absurd. The whole hotel is a walking hazard. Unhygienic, unsafe, and inhabitable. A one star is way to high for this property, If I could put 0 I would. $300 for 2 nights for a hotel that has worse quality than a run down motel.

The room and facilities were clean. The morning breakfast service and options were great as well. They have a nice open sitting area for many to enjoy at the same time. The room layout was really nice. We were a little disappointed that the pool area was so humid and overwhelmingly hot that we could not even use the pool. Our room was also on the 3rd floor and our air didn't work well. They offered a fan, but it didn't work either. The next option was a larger industrial fan and we said no thinking it would keep us all up being a loud racket instead. We would stay again. It was clean and we are picky on cleanliness.

It was clean, needs were comfortable and the location was fantastic! The fountain out front wasn’t working, the keypad entries on the side entrance didn’t work, the shower pressure/head was awful, just trickled out, and the dogs pull out bed needs a new mattress.

Location They had a baseball tournament or something going on so many people there had to close the pool because too many unwanted guest in the pool (guest wasn't staying at the hotel). Beds was comfortable and shower pressure wasn't the greatest

Stayed overnight while traveling. Jay checked me in—he was wonderful and efficient. Had a dog. Lots of places to walk her down the road and at the church next door. Plenty of places to eat in the area. Hotel was clean. Did not eat breakfast bc I had to get on the road. There is a gas station on your way out…..such a great place I’m staying again on my travels home.

First of all, the lady that did the breakfast was amazing. Only real bright spot of the stay. The establishment itself was stinky. There were dogs barking and people running up and down the hallways all night. I was in room 211 and it sounded like the room above me was wrestling all night. It was horrendously frustrating. I couldn’t sleep. I will never come back to the location.

The room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. The walls and several surfaces were noticeably dirty and appeared to have been overlooked during housekeeping. Overall, the condition of the room was disappointing.

Regulating the A/C unit was tricky. Why was there no lamp over the corner chair in the bedroom? Too dark to read.

It is an old building that was remodeled, but there are still details that look old; plus, we found several bugs.

Great staff very friendly and attentive. Significant down grade in quality and cleanliness of rooms. Breakfast is always a plus and they do a good job at offering variety. Parking is not an issue but does get tight on occasion.

When we were stopped and warned by someone in the parking lot leaving the hotel as we were on our way to check in, I knew it was bad. The room we were supposed to stay in was disgusting. The couch was stained and nasty while the chair had hair all over it. The room smelled like it had been bleached with a film across the top of the floor that left our shoe prints when we walked on it. We kept our shoes on the entire time and didn’t let anyone touch anything. The furniture had spills that had dried on them and the walls in the bathroom did too. There was black mold in the bathroom and the door frame was rotting away by the floor. We stayed maybe 30 minutes and then contacted Expedia to get our money refunded for our stay and went somewhere else. They were very helpful and nice during a very stressful situation.

The staff was very nice, breakfast was very good and had a lot to choose from. We were going to swim but the pool was very cloudy and you couldn’t see the bottom of it so we decided not to go in. Our room could have been a little cleaner. There were stains on the couch and it looked dirty and there was a lot of dust accumulated on the furniture and fixtures. The bathroom could have been cleaner but overall it was ok. The bed was comfortable and all in all it was ok for our stay which was only a couple days. It was very quiet while we were there.

Came in late and were greeted warmly, but next day staff were not able to keep up with breakfast demands due to how many people so we only got coffee. Location was good for a 1 night stop on our drive.

Second time staying here. I book it because of the large rooms, breakfast and convenience and safe area. The first visit there was a few strands of hair in the bathroom. This time, there was hair all throughout the room, the towels had hair, the and the floors were dirty. Upon calling the front desk and asking for housekeeping, was told they left at 3pm and no one was available. Had to tidy the room myself! Upon checkout there was no one at the desk to talk to; was just told by housekeeping that I could just leave my keys in a container. Highly disappointed at the level of uncleanliness; especially having young children with me.

That room was dirty. I pulled out the sofa sleeper and the mattress cover was yellow and dirty and the sofa sleeper mattress had urine stains on the underside. And there was a ziploc bag with a used bar of soap under the cushions. We requested a new room. This room was a little cleaner, but still dirty (sofa sleeper in the same condition as the previous room) and even smaller than the previous room. At this point, we tried one more time to get a new room that was at least as big as the 1st one we had, but cleaner. They let us take a look at another room, but that sofa sleeper had some kind of clear crystal (looked like glass at first) under the mattress cover. After this we requested a refund and spent hours trying to book a room at another nearby hotel. The cleaning staff needs to be trained to clean ALL the linen and places even the sofa sleeper whether or not they believe it was used or not.

Very disappointed with the condition of the suite, we drove 600 Miles to get a good night sleep and keep going to our final destination. The place is beat up and not clean at all. The sofa bed is disgusting and my daughter didnt want to sleep on it , but again we were tired and this is one time visit and the last one for sure. However i had to be fair with them , after all the above the hotel responded to me and gave me a discount to make me happy. Again they made it right for me but ! I dont recommend it to anyone , pay more and get you a better good night sleep somewhere else.

Good place if traveling with 5 and need extra space. Hotel run down though. They should start weekend breakfast earlier than 7am.

Bathroom had hair all over the floor. Bathroom needs to be updated. Sofa bed had dirty sheets on it and a stained mattress cover with hair all over it. Breakfast was good and it was a quiet hotel.

Breakfast food was limited and mediocre in quality. We found a few dead roaches in our room after we had been there all night. Working on addressing this with the hotel currently. The pull out couch in the room has stains all over. Overall, would not recommend.

Whole hotel smelled. Rooms smell like dirty dog, pool smelled like cigarettes and had hair wads floating in it. Mold in the shower grouting, stained furniture in rooms & lobby. Breakfast ran out of food a half hour before breakfast ended and staff refused to make more. Horrible stay, do NOT recommend. Do not stay here unless you hate your family

Pool was not the cleanest but there were a zillion people in it, so understandable. Bed was comfortable and room was recently reno’d it seemed. Great stay.

The check-in was smooth, painless, and efficient. We entered our room, in which, we had a hot tub -this was really nice! The place was really quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful, clean and spacious rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating! Great breakfast and the most beautiful thing was the entrance when you walk in! Beautiful waterfall entrance! Will always be my stay while traveling through Chattanooga!

Room was clean. Floors were a little sticky and the vinyl floor boards are separating. Mattresses good use an upgrade.

The property is pet friendly. The breakfast was hot and served a mixture of eggs, breads, juices, cereals, and fruit.

Dirty clothes left in the couch from a previous guest, wads of hair in the bathtub, writing all over the floor. I think the only thing that had been attended to were the beds, and the sheets were clean, and that's what we needed for the night. It looks as though they hired an elementary classroom to paint, and a middle school shop class to do repairs. To say it's neglected would be an upgrade from reality. To best capture this hotel, all you need is to see the picture of the "Fruit Loops" dispenser for breakfast which clearly contained Cheerios. Sums up the establishment pretty well. Whoever they hired to take the photos for the website ought to get an award for their Photoshop skills!

This hotel looks great in pictures, with an updated lobby and our room had it's own bedroom separated from the living room area, but the facility overall is very rundown and in need of many repairs. While showering water bubbled up through the tile in the living room floor (room 236). The keyfob reader on the outside door was broken, with wires sticking out. The staff does the bare minimum but wasn't unfriendly. On the good side, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Also the price was reasonable.

The room was clean. But not fully stocked with towels. After we realized the sink was clogged Management immediately switched our room. Second room was clean also and fully stocked. Only reason for the four-star is that the hotel is showing its age

Overall the quality of the hotel reflects an old run down hotel near an airport. Stains on nearly every surface in the room, mold evident in the bathroom, bathroom door doesn't shut, I could spit with more pressure than the shower had, ice machine broken, trash in most of the hallways and overall poorly maintained. But it was a cheap place to stay before our flight out the next morning.

We had the king bed suite. It was very spacious with a couch and tv in one area and a separate sleeping area. The room was clean. There were enough amenities such as shampoo and soap. The parking lot was well lit. We had a first floor room and could see our car from our window.

I appreciated that there were bagged hard boiled eggs and healthy options. Breakfast was good and I felt safe traveling alone with 2 kids.

There wasn't enough inventory for all the guests to have breakfast. On the last day, there was no breakfast available at 7:30 a.m., even though breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00 a.m. The employee's response was that the delivery truck wouldn't arrive until Friday, and it was only Sunday.

Room was gross. Sticky floors. I wet a towel and rubbed a small spot on the floor and the towel was black. The couch was disgusting, stained and ripped. There was black mold in the shower, sink counter top was dirty. Very displeased with the state of the whole room. The vent/fan is caked with dust. No garbage can in the bathroom.

Out side temp was 33 and Heater is not working in room. AC vents were full of dust never cleaned. Requested for blanket for sofa bed but they didnt had any. Was told to change room but i couldnt as kids were sleeping complaining abt cold after 9 hr drive. Floor was dirty and bathroom has dust in all corners. Shower water pressure was terrible. Maintenance is terrible for this Hotel.

The bedding was stained. The bathroom door was really, really difficult to close because the bottom rubbed against the floor, water was dripping into the elevator, and people were running up and down the hallway at night. The eggs at breakfast were very watery. The juice dispenser didn't work.

This is a great hotel to stay at it your looking to have a nice stay and not spend a lot. It is a well kept building and the staff is great and helpful. The breakfast was very good with biscuits and gravy even.

Lovely room very updated

Clean rooms, slight hiccup at check in with multiple room since the pre check in only applies to one room. After that all good! Kids loved the breakfast! Even though it was super busy the workers kept the breakfast bar full and very pleasant! Will definitely be staying again for our annual aquarium trip!

We stayed here for a softball tournament, and the location was 8 mins from the field. Rooms are nice but could use some updates (curtains, bedding). The sofa in sitting area could definitely use an update. Overall, our stay was good, room was clean and spacious.

Staff was ok, the room was dirty. I spilled a drink and wipe the floor in my room up and the towel was filthy and brown dirt all over it. There was a dead roach in my bathtub. When I woke up the first night I found a roach in my sink. The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable.

When we got there our room smelt like weed. So strong. Our toliet was clogged they gave us a plunger to fix it. I fixed it but there was something wrong with the toliet it wouldn’t flush properly I had to stick my hand down the back of the tank to flush for us. I told them it needs to be repaired. Some one kept coming and knocking on our door all night we just hardly have any sleep and have a 4 and a half hour ride home exhausted bc we got no rest

The room was clean and satisfactory. There was some mold in the bathroom. The staff never made up the rooms or brought fresh towels. We had to go by the desk to pick them up. The breakfast was very good.

My room, especially the bathroom, smelled like dog. It was bad enough that I canceled my second night stay due to the odor.

We had to change our room three times, the first was covered in mildew and smelled of urine. The second, smelled of urine, the lights werent working, and the third was better but not much, it smelled of mildew but no urine, the sofa was covered in stains, the floor had something sticky on it. The front desk had a cricket crawling around and the staff seemed unconcerned. The front desk team was nice but the hotel and grounds are not well maintained.

Property offered everything I needed for an overnight stay.

The room AC wasn't working in the main part of the room, there was roaches in the bathroom, but the front desk was friendly.

Lots of small details in the room were not cleaned - corners, walls, furniture. Broken light switch in the room. Stained sheets. People were coming down without shoes on for breakfast which was off putting. It was LOUD. Think people racing down the hallway of the third floor at 11pm loud. The pool area was SOAKED, dirty towels everywhere, zero clean towels. We didn’t swim long because of the behavior of those in and around the pool made it unsafe. The front desk staff seemed friendly, the lobby was clean, breakfast had a good variety.

The room was disgusting, there were potatoes chips in the bed even though it had been made! Dust everywhere. Something disgusting stuck to the side of the toliet. More potato chips on the couch, and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We did get moved to another room, but that one was almost as dirty.

The property I reserved was located on a dead end street and I did not feel safe walking my dog after dark. No sidewalks and lots of litter, broken beer bottles and take out scraps and trash, making it hard to be aware of your surrounding and keep the dog from picking up something. People hanging around the parking lot at 2am. A lady in the stairwell all night making it very inconvenient to take my dog out. Doors with broken keypads propped open I would not stay at this location if I was traveling solo.

An unexpected gem! Located in a quiet, area convenient to the interstate. Large suite with comfy beds, a great shower, great breakfast, great staff. I would stay there again and recommend it to others!

The only issue was the AC only cooled the bedroom and the transfer fan in the wall to move cool room air to living room with fold out bed would not come on to cool child and pet area (living room). It was hot after a hot 12-hour drive for relief.

There were people everywhere at 1 in the morning - people blocking the entrance with their car that apparently live there, first room was horrendously smelly , second room had dirty floors, very outdated a d run down

Lobby has been redone and looks new but the rooms are pretty dirty. Im not expecting sparkling but there shouldnt be dirt on the floor or old sheets on the beds. They also just turn the mini shampoo bottles upside down instead of giving you new ones?

Super clean room and lobby! Very updated hotel and rooms!! Admit associate super sweet, especially when I locked both keys in room. 1 bedside lamp flicked off and on when turned on. Toilet seat didn't fit toilet.. uncomfortable. Bed was comfy, clean. Breakfast sausage patty and scrambled eggs weren't warm...they just opened and I was first in line. Coffee was good and HOT.

The breakfast was good and hot everyday. The beds were way too hard and the pull out bed looked like it hadn’t been touched or cleaned in years. It was pretty bad. There was mildew on the bathroom ceiling because there isn’t a vent in there. Overall, it was a good stay but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

My Room was not Cleaned. The trash was not taken out. The dirty towels were taken out but we were not supplied with clean towels. There was no blankets for the sleeper sofa. The sheets were taken off the bed and the pillow cases were taken off the pillows but not replaced. When I complained at the front desk the clerk said housekeeping was gone for the day and there was nothing they could do, I had to sleep on a bed with no sheets on the last night I was there. Floors were not swept. The coffee and soaps were not replenished. I got a trash bag from the front desk and took out the trash. I was not happy with this stay at all. I can say the Lobby was nice and clean but I would not stay there again.

The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice.

I booked our stay through Hotels.com. The website advertised that prices shown included all taxes and fees. This proved nbot to be the case as significant fees were added.

Rooms smell like animal pee. Dust as thick as an inch under bed. Staff was very friendly.

Shopping areas close are nice, but the area around the hotel is horrible

The breakfast was excellent and above most! The smell was the air conditioning or pee not sure which but other than that good.

Walking into the hotel lobby you think it’s going to be nice, but thats where it stops. The rooms are not clean. Stains on everything, found hair all over and 4 cockroaches. The girl at the front desk was super nice though. She moved us, but still had a hard time sleeping. Save time and money and stay somewhere else.

We had a King suite, which had 2 rooms, the air conditioner was in the bedroom but there was no air or vents in the "living room". Breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfortable

Rooms were clean enough but did not feel clean. I often found myself questioning if something had been cleaned or rotated.

We stopped here just passing through. The check-in was quick and the room was clean and cool when we got there.

Stopped here for 1 night on our way to South Carolina on June 12th. First room we were assigned room 118 had a very strong mildew smell as we walked in we noticed there was water all over the floor under the AC unit. Asked to be moved to a different room. They moved us to the 3rd floor, same mildew smell and the mini fridge was pulled away from the cabinet with the door open and a cleaning rag sitting in it. There was mold all around the bottom of the cabinet obviously there was a leak and they were aware of it but still booked the room. At this point it’s 11 pm and we had been driving all day so we sucked it up so we could get some sleep. This property is extremely run down, dirty, and in desperate need of repair.

Breakfast was good, pool was nice but wish there was an outdoor option too.

I appreciated being allowed to check in a bit early. It was very special because i hadn't had any sleep in over 24 hours, so i really appreciated the kindness of an early check in!

We found cloth behind the chair that belonged to previous guest. Breakfast was excellent and had lots of options to choose from.

Urine stained mattress in the pull out sofa. I complained to front desk and they were unable to replace it or move us. Pool was closed but that was not advertised before we booked. Pay the extra 20 or 30 dollars for a better place.

This hotel is so run down and i couldn't wait to leave. The pool was freezing and the room was in terrible condition.

The lobby appears clean & nice and it completely stops there. Everything about this place is gross. It looks like it’s in a state of disrepair. Felt like I was in a third world country. Floors were not cleaned anytime recently, smelled like a mixture of wet dog, bleach, and sewage, there was even a sewage clean out pipe coming out of the wall! Paint chipping off of the walls and doors, the shower curtain is too short in the rooms and water floods the floors, there’s mold. Awful, awful experience and given that this was the second hotel on this trip that was highly rated on Expedia and I found it to be nasty, I will never again use this site. The reviews have to be fake.

The check-in was easy and welcoming. However, the sheets on the pullout couch had stains on them. The pull out couch mattress (the underside) also had a big brown stain. On one of the double beds we found a small wad of hair. The carpet in the hallway looked dirty. The pool was closed and we had wanted to swim.

Room smells musty and moldy. Thought i smelled sewar some on bathroom.

The warm breakfast the next morning hit the spot. Great stay and the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants.

The wallpaper in the elevator was peeling. The room was gloomy. Something bit me numerous times while there.There was mildew in the shower. The staff was friendly though.

Property is showing signs of poor upkeep. Staff is very good. Housekeeping isn't up to snuff with sheets and clean towels.

This was the best little getaway. The hotel staff were kind. Breakfast was very good, there was a variety of hot foods, breads and cereal. We spent most of our time in downtown Chattanooga which was a short 15-20 min drive. Highly recommend this hotel and we will be coming back!

The beds were a little hard and it echoed in the pool area badly. Other than that overall it was a good experience.

We have a family of five and this was a nice room with an awesome layout so that we could have separate spaces for sleeping!

Housekeeping walked in on me and my family twice without knocking at 10 am when check out of was at 12 . The pool was out if order for 2 days

Everything smelled weird, rooms need updating really bad. Location was awful. The front desk ladies were very helpful and nice though. Its just the hotel itself that was bad. The pool was murky and still reeked of chlorine. Kids didnt even want to swim in it. I paid 150 a night for a hotel that was literally worth 75 a night.

Kind of beat up. Cockroach in the bathroom but staff was nice.

Trip was very good. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Only things I think could be improved were parking availability and the pool had so much chlorine in it that it was hard to stay in there with the kids.

My only complaint it’s regarding the A/C, is too noisy and doesn’t work well either.

Staff was great!

La Quinta was in a great location to get on and off the highway. It is close by many shops and dining options. The hotel had a good breakfast, with waffles, cereal, donuts, premade omelets, chicken patty, toast, raisin bread, and bagels. There was coffee, juice, whole milk, and yogurt too along with bananas and apples. Our only dislike was the room floor actually which was vinyl plank flooring and didn't seem to be stuck down to the floor very well. I'm thinking that is is because they allow pets. Overall a good stay.

You can tell they have attempted to upgrade the property but the bathrooms really need attention. The TV and phone didn’t work and the walls are so thin- there were kids above us running all evening and we didn’t sleep until about 2am.

I booked this hotel at the last minute and was very satisfied. It was beautiful and spacious!! The pool hours were convenient and the staff even extended the breakfast hours when my family overslept!! 10/10 definitely recommend

Pretty clean property, it does smell like bleach when you come into the lobby. Other than that, it’s close to stores and restaurants. And the rooms are super clean. The staff is very nice too.
