Reviews
The hotel has received mixed reviews, with guests praising the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are several complaints about the front desk service, room readiness, and lack of amenities. Some guests have also reported issues with the air conditioning and noise levels.
- Great location
- Clean and spacious rooms
- Poor front desk service
- Room readiness and maintenance issues
- 2/5
Hotel is nice however our hot water in the sink did not work, shower did not drain well, and air conditioner did not work well. They sent someone to look at these issues but never fixed anything. It was a special anniversary trip so I was disappointed. ☹️

Property was old, the golf attendant gave us a look up and down which made me not want to go back.
- 5/5
The property was beautiful and the staff were friendly and accommodating! I enjoyed the spacious room, comfortable bed, and it was quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking and a quick walk to the front lobby. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the whole thing super convenient

A beautiful place to stay. Very clean and great staff

It's a beautiful property, close to entertainment and shopping. Well kept, clean and the staff are super friendly.

While we enjoyed the resort in its entirety, the rooms aren’t all much to write home about. With paying for something of this quality, one would hope the rooms would mimic the rest of the resort. The bed was ok, sheets and linens were ok, tv was ok, but again, nothing super spectacular. Hotel restaurant wasn’t up to par for what you pay for the meal, the staff seemed frazzled for how many people that were being waited on, & our room window only opened about two inches. I understand that’s for specific safety reasons, but for the cost of the room one would think you’d be able to enjoy the breeze from the Colorado air since our room faces the golf course and we had sun coming in directly on our side so we had to keep the shades shut and the AC was not very cold at all (we cranked it down to 60 and it was NOT 60). The hotel itself was fine… But things like the caulking in the bathrooms and window sills needed major attention, there were no complimentary toiletries in the rooms (Q-tips, nail file, mini lotions, etc) and there weren’t any available to purchase at the desk; our branded hotel lotion bottle was empty when we got to our room, so it was either not checked or ignored. I understand it seems like a small thing, but all these little things added up don’t convince me to come back to stay again. The resort was well maintained but the rooms themselves didn’t warrant the cost. If I were to pay this much for a room, I would hope that these issues wouldn’t exist.

Beautiful location!
- 4/5
It was amazing. The room we were given did have some damages to the pain job and furniture but other than that, the service was amazing. Breakfast was amazing, and the fact you are in a nice part of town made us feel safe.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
This resort has beautiful amenities to enjoy throughout your visit!

attempted charges of 1367.57 prior to our ck out date. none were valid charges. staff could not explain why only recite what they were told to say.
- 5/5
This place never disappoints us. We've stayed here numerous times on many special occasions and always enjoyed the staff the property in the location.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service and location
- 4/5
Noise level of drunk guests in the lobby that went on for hours through early morning Also they now charge $15 a day to park at the hotel- it was free before

The seafood buffet is gone, breakfast was underwhelming, and the hospitality was lacking. We had to get our own water, find silverware and napkins from another table, and during the entire meal no server checked on us once. It genuinely felt like we were invisible. My wife and I are very low-maintenance people, and we always try to be understanding. But part of staying at a hotel is paying for an experience where you can relax and feel taken care of. I wanted to order coffee and even had cash ready for a generous tip, but after being repeatedly overlooked while staff walked past our table, I gave up. It left us feeling unwelcome and reflected poorly on the overall management experience. We came back hoping for nostalgia and a chance to celebrate, but the stay was unfortunately very “meh.” Honestly, we could have stayed at a less expensive hotel and likely received friendlier service. To make matters worse, the coffee maker in our room didn’t work the next morning. I contacted staff and never received a response. It’s disappointing to spend this kind of money and leave feeling let down instead of refreshed.

The reason I didn’t stay - cancelled my reservation 2 days in advance because of a stupid policy WEARING MASKS. I will never stay at the Inverness again.
- 5/5
Great people. Everyone was available to help.
- 2/5
Room was dirty, staff was rude (other than the Spa employees who are not even employed by the hotel), the room service was impossible to get through to. Overall I was treated not well at this hotel. I was expecting much nicer facilities for the amount of money I paid. I will never stay here again.
- 5/5
Very nice place, parking is free unless you Valet, great food, also has a coffee bar. Beds are comfy and rooms are quiet. I would highly recommend! It was pretty cool to go back to the place we were married 24yrs ago!

The staff was the best! All that you hope for when you go to a hotel! The room was clean. Breakfast was less than expected based off of the online menu. However, I just cannot say enough good things about the staff! All of them!
- 5/5
Loved the king bacony suite!
- 2/5
I paid for a balcony room.. after gets bags to the room we had to go back down to the desk and get a second room, they didn’t put us in an balcony initially. The patio door would hardly open. I couldn’t get it to lock at night, it was almost impossible to open and close. The lock to the entry of the hotel room was falling apart. I couldn’t get the deadbolt to lock without messing with the metal plate around it because it was falling off. The room definitely needs updating as far as functionality. I’ve always enjoyed staying at this hotel but this trip was rough.

Overall stay was great will come back again
- 5/5
Great stay, attentive, beautiful, comfortable.

Looks like a great deal online but they charge you for everything! By the time I left, I felt every breath I had was $20 out of my pocket. Would not recommend to anybody

Rooms are fantastic and staff at the check in desk and the bar downstairs are awesome

Lovely hotel. Clean, friendly, and spacious. They have a great little cafe in there, too, which makes morning way nicer. I need to come through Denver again this summer and will be booking with this hotel again!

I was very disappointed in this property. When I checked into my room it had the most awful smell, vomit and or sour trash smell. I opened the sliding door and tried to air it out for an hour, and nothing worked. I went to the front desk, they were not at all apologetic and they said they were fully booked and couldn't change my room, but they would send someone from housekeeping to investigate it. The person that came in smelled it immediately and said that the housekeeper in the morning had also smelled it but didn't know where it was coming from. So they just put me in a room that they already knew had a problem without doing anything about it? The cleaning lady was very nice and cleaned the rug and it became only slightly better, but the smell never went away all week, and I had to keep my door open every time I was in the room. Besides that, I paid for the 2nd most expensive room and had a view of the maintenance area instead of the golf course like I thought I paid for. The room was so dated and not 4 star by any means. I went back up to the overnight front desk attendant and he was the only one that offered I move to a suit but said I would have to exit the suit the next morning which was impossible because I was in Denver for a training that ran 10 hours a day. The topper on the cake was I bought a 100 worth of snacks/groceries from trader joes for the week, and I had to throw away half of them because I woke up to ant infestation al over all the food.
- 5/5
We love your hotel. Very clean. Front desk very nice and helpful. We live down the street but like to have a staycation at the Inverness sometimes.
- 5/5
Clean room, so nice inside with amazing amenities 10/10 recommend
- 5/5
Excellent location, great staff, very clean.
- 5/5
This hotel is the best. Best staff ever. Every single person is friendly and helpful. Extremely clean rooms. Delicious food. Don’t even want to stay anywhere else at this point now.
- 5/5
Wicked place!
- 4/5
Room was clean didn’t eat breakfast or go to spa
- 2/5
When you pull under the entry canopy, you can see the bellman standing inside at his desk. But he does not bother to even glance your way until after you unload 3 heavy suitcases and drag them thru the sliding glass doors to the front desk. For this treatment, we were charged in addition to the room rate, a $30 "Resort Fee" AND $15 nightly parking fee.. A suburban "resort" with acres of parking, but no valet service, charging for parking in addition to a resort fee for no identifiable amenities or service, is totally ridiculous. Tired rooms, poor caulking job in tub/shower, cheap coffee maker in room, VERY soft beds. Only positives: Front Desk friendly, good breakfast muffins.
- 5/5
I had booked a room with a balcony specifically. When checking in, the front desk informed me they had run out of balcony rooms so they upgraded me to a suite with a balcony at no extra cost. The hotel was clean, up to date, and staffed with very kind staff. Great stay
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Comfy bed and pillows, great staff and golf course bar.

Exceptional
- 5/5
As always, the rooms were clean, staff are friendly
- 4/5
The room shows signs of wear (glue on wall about headrest from previous decorations). The floor of the bathroom had some dirty spots on it, but the toilet and tub appeared clean. Bathroom sink drain filled up while using as drain was sluggish.
- 5/5
No pets and we selected a course view
- 1/5
This place was horrible. They accused of us of smoking in the room charged us for parking when we didnt even have a car and charged us $320 for miscellaneous charges
- 5/5
I actually came two days early for another reservation. We love this property. It is quiet, relaxing and lovely.
- 5/5
We lived the location, and the hotel activities! Shuffle board, wall scrabble, and outdoor activity rental.
- 3/5
Our bathroom was dirty when we got there, but room service came right up and cleaned the bathroom for us. Did not like that the tvs were only standard cable. No movies or streaming.

Hotel was basic . No coffee makers in the room . They make buy digusting coffee for $4.50. Room service is a joke and the food is horrible. My room had a view of a roof top and an aitport . I did not find any amenities. Staff was either high of just didnt care . Theres is NOTHING special about this place . Hard beds . Small bathrooms . Save yourself some money and stay elsewhere
- 5/5
Room was very comfortable with great mountain views. Felt like a studio apartment and not a hotel room. Everyone from housekeeping manager to front desk personnel were exceptional. Desiree was a standout. She made us feel like old friends! Excellent property with the very best of customer service. Great location, too
- 4/5
Good rooms & facilities
- 5/5
Restauran bar cold food Food gruñese no good
- 5/5
Hotel was nice, room was super clean, and staff was amazing!
- 3/5
There is a $15.00 a day fee for the parking lot that I was only made aware of at the check in desk. $60 dollars to park my rental car in an empty lot with no valet or alternative options. Bad start to my stay.
- 5/5
What else do you need?
- 4/5
I let the managers know about the comments the BB bartender made about ICE. That was the only upsetting thing, absolutely everything else was wonderful.
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay!!!
- 5/5
HOT TUB!!! maybe the room could use more blackout curtains or something to block the door light at night? there was just a lot of light from both the blinds and the door at night
- 5/5
Resorts is great…really big rooms with great views!
- 5/5
Quick and friendly check in!
- 4/5
Person checking us in and out did not enjoy there job and the hallways are creepy dark. Everything else we would give you a 10!
- 5/5
This was my second time staying at the Inverness Hilton. The hotel Staff were great, very friendly and courteous. I had a room on the 3rd floor facing IKEA. It had huge windows, lots of natural light, very comfy bed, and lots of lamps. I had the steak fritas and my husband had fish and chips, at the Game Room bar/restaurant, the food was really good, a touch pricy, but overall worth the price. For breakfast we picked up coffees and breakfast sandwiches from the hotel lobby coffee bar. Breakfast was so good!!! I had the peppermint mocha holiday drink and it was so much better than anything I’ve had from Starbucks in years. My husband had the breakfast chorizo burrito, he highly recommends it!! We stayed at the Hilton for 2 nights and really enjoyed out stay. We would recommend staying at this hotel it to anyone staying in the area. We’re looking forward to staying here the next time we are in Denver.

The room was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the restaurant and hotel gym. I will be booking here again!

Restaurants were freezing which took away from the enjoyment of the meal.

Fue una gran experiencia..
- 4/5
Room was clean spacious and had a great view of the golf course and airport beyond. Front desk staff (Felipe) was very welcoming. The breakfast offerings were awful. Buffet @ $24.95 was skimpy and food was dry and tasteless. The fact that it’s over at 10.00am sharp isn’t very friendly either. One of our rooms had a clogged drain shower. Not a pleasant experience. Hotel seems a little lifeless. We’ve stayed there for years and it’s gotten very quiet and lacking in any sparkle.

Clean room and courteous staff. Surprised by parking fee, guess that's normal in a big city. Staff in the bar downstairs was very accommodating.

Love this hotel normally. It was awful. Checked in room had no curtains so moved. Then I unpack get in bed. Bugs. I got 4 then the fifth I couldn’t reach was on the ceiling. The guy came and got it then moved me rooms at 2 am. Got to the new room unpacked got to bed at 4 am. Next day wasp in the room. Guy came and got it. Then early in the am got woken up with housekeeping even though do not disturb on. Then last night there requested late check out and housekeeping woke me up again. Awful exp and they only offered me a drink coupon lol I said no thank you I don’t drink. Crazy exp!

- 4/5
Nice place to stay . . .
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! They treated me as a person and not just a regular guest. Danielle (Evening supervisor)and Rula( Spa Manager) went above and beyond to ensure my stay was amazing and I will be forever grateful!
- 2/5
The main bar and grill was closed and only option for dinner was Breckenridge brewery, which was fine, except the service was terrible. Our waitress rarely returned and if she walked by she wouldn’t acknowledge us so we could ask for anything. Food took a very long time for a couple burgers. Once the food finally came it was clear it had been sitting ready under the heater for some time, plates burning hot, sauces had a layer of film and burgers dried out. Definitely not worth the price of the meal and unlike any experience we’ve had at the Littleton location.
- 1/5
My car & several others broken into last night.
- 3/5
Needs to be updated.
- 5/5
I had an overall remarkable experience.
- 3/5
The stay was fine. It seems ridiculous to get charged for parking when it has a huge lot and it is not downtown or somewhere with limited parking. I would of chosen a different hotel if I would of realized.
- 3/5
The room was pretty good, clean enough. The guy who checked us in wasn’t happy to be at work and said he was just “here.” I get it, but maybe don’t say that to guests because it kind of puts your energy on someone else. We were there to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. The service in the brewery and restaurant were great. But, the food in the restaurant was not good. The meat tasted rancid (we shared a steak) and actually both my husband and I had stomach issues the last 24hrs. Our waitress was really trying hard, so didn’t make sense to spoil her night by saying the food was bad. Kudos to her for friendliness. The menu could use a few more options too. Overall, we had a good time.

- 5/5
Very Good, didn't really got there to experience their Golf and Spa options, but will next time - family, business visit. Breakfast service was good and timely, but sometimes had a hard time getting the orders completely correct.
- 5/5
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I used the work out facility and it was well equipped for a basic workout. Really enjoyed the coffees shop downstairs. The facility is a bit dated but in good condition.
- 1/5
Unless you feel the need to call us back to show us that this was a one time bad experience.
- 3/5
Have loved this place for years. This time was run down and lackluster, especially The Fireside Lounge
- 5/5
This wqs our second tume at this locationn. We loved it so much we decided to come back. Beautiful location and great staff.
- 4/5
Great place to stay. Would def return. Staff was excellent!
- 5/5
Great rooms. Beautiful grounds
- 3/5
The food is mediocre at best. The bed isn't terribly comfortable and the pillows were paper-thin. Everyone is really nice and the spa is great. I just expect a bit more from a Hilton for the price point.
- 4/5
Food options were not so great. I could not get hot coffee after 4 PM. Breakfast was buffet only couldn’t order anything off the menu.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 5/5
This is a nice hotel. The only negative thing about is that their restaurant closes at 10 pm.
- 5/5
It was a fun comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately we didn’t golf or use the pickleball court but maybe next time. Close to the light rail which we took to enjoy downtown Denver.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. Just had a few issues that didn’t get taken care of by maintenance.
- 5/5
Overnight parking is $15 a night. Nice and clean hotel overall but breakfast is not included. I believe it’s $15-20 daily for breakfast as an add-on.
- 2/5
Breakfast fast is worse non existent!! The rest of the facility is excellent keep it up
- 5/5
So nice. Period exclamation mark!
- 5/5
I was on a business trip for a client not too far away from this location, and chose to upgrade from a regular hotel to take advantage of the golf and resort feel. The hotel is beautiful and I highly recommend it. Having said that, it is lacking in dining options. There is a beautiful room for breakfast that is not used for dinners, and the only dining facility is also a tap room, and is very loud and boisterous. The dinner food was not up to the standards I would expect for a hotel of this caliber.
- 5/5
Amazing, clean hotel!
- 5/5
Will return
- 5/5
Amazing family experience!!!
- 3/5
The hotel is nice. The staff was very short with us when arriving. We did arrive an hour early and this is what set off the poor demeanor by the front desk staff.
- 4/5
Lobby music seemed to be chosen by the young male valets. Neither tranquil nor nostalgic which would have been improvements.
- 2/5
Jacuzzi was very cloudy the pool was way too low with water. They had golf tournaments so we couldn’t golf whole reason I went there. They had a wedding and the guest were up loud and partying in different guest rooms till 3am every night. They charged us 50 dollars a night for resort fees and wasn’t allowed enjoy anything they offered. I guess I paid 50 a night to park my car. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Great location, great room, great people - we had hoped to get checked in early and prepare for the wedding we were going to, and they were able to let us into our room 2 hours early - it was a great experience overall!
- 5/5
Beautiful location
- 5/5
Pool was great
- 3/5
The hotel was run down. Also, I booked a balcony room for two nights with Expedia. When I added an extra night they downgraded me to a non balcony. Bar service was slow.
- 2/5
The hotel was pretty disappointing considering its a 4 star resort. There was nothing special about this hotel. I would rate this property closer to a 2.5-3 star hotel given the lack of cleanliness, customer service and amenities you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. The room was pretty gross and was not very clean at all. Definitely will not stay here again
- 1/5
Hard to sleep
- 5/5
Favorite hotel in Denver area.
- 5/5
Location was great.
- 5/5
The stuff was amazing and super helpful! Room was nice I have no complaints!
- 5/5
Amazing staff, pool, food!
- 4/5
The pool needs some serious cleaning.
- 3/5
Everything was ok but there is a lack of service. We got checked in but the staff was very slow. We went to the restaurant for dinner and while it was not busy at all, we had to work hard to get someone/anyone to seat us. I felt like a burden honestly.
- 4/5
A good property. Bar service was less attentive than usual. Room temperature never was comfortable despite turning the thermostat to 66°.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms are standard size and clean. Staff was super nice and always willing to help
- 5/5
Great hotel - super friendly staff
- 5/5
It was quiet and very clean. This place was a dream and I enjoyed the stay the entire time I was there. I would definitely stay here again as it is also close to several resale a mall.

Great room great service.
- 4/5
The beds are very comfortable and great water pressure in the shower. Lovely setting and convenient to area attractions. We have stayed at this hotel on multiple trip to the area
- 3/5
Water pressure was very low and our bathtub didn’t drain. Talked to employee about it on day 1 but nothing was done about it.
- 4/5
Beautiful, but a little dated
- 4/5
Good experience. Rooms are a little run down, but not bad. Worth the price (as long as the price is under $200).
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, great
- 4/5
The hotel is beautiful. A few points to consider, they have 4 elevators and only 5 floors but there was always a rather lengthy wait for the elevator going up or down. Also, they didn’t “capture” my card correctly for incidentals so they decided to call me after 9:00 pm to let me know I needed to come down and re-run the card. I went down the next morning hand the young man was very apologetic but the manager standing there was less than apologetic and didn’t seem bothered by us being inconvenienced in the least bit.
- 2/5
We bought the breakfast to go with our stay. Breakfast staff did not come and greet us, and they didn’t have any food out (pastries) or explain the options to us. Not impressed with the breakfast as it wasn’t good. If McDonald’s serves a better breakfast with a smile on their face and you would rather go there then there is something wrong with this hotel. Not to mention the hot tub and pool were filthy. I haven’t been in maybe 8 years to the Inverness but I remember the pool and hot tub being outstanding and the temp had to be 105-106, as no one could seem to get in for more than a couple mins, and it was gross (hair and filth around the inside part of the hot tub). Didn’t make it inviting. Oh and my most favorite part after requesting a later check out since it took us so long to even get in the room…was the maid banging on our door at 10am over and over (even with the do not disturb sign on). Awesome thanks! Glad we waited time here. Not sure we will ever go back.
- 5/5
Fabulous stay!
- 4/5
Great Customer Experience
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! Amazing staff, and the amenities were impeccable. The food at the restaurants was better than we have ever had at a hotel! Definitely will be comigg by back!

Love this hotel- very clean and everyone is very accommodating and friendly. Great location.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere
- 5/5
Spacious, serene, clean and very comfortable hotel. It was very relaxing and had all of the amenities we could have asked for. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The only negative was my shower didn’t work but everything else was great!
- 5/5
Spa was excellent
- 5/5
Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Also, it was very easy to check in and check out.
- 5/5
The property was truly beautiful. Walking into the lobby was gasp worthy.
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Beautiful place and customers service was excellent
- 3/5
Terrible service at front desk. Attendant did not look up from computer once and recited everything in a very robotic tone. Room was nice, but a terrible way to be greeted on arrival.
- 5/5
Wonderful establishment. Received amazing help and friendly treatment. Will definitely be returning in the future.
- 4/5
Stuff service is average
- 4/5
I thought it was a little dated, but it was clean and the staff was nice.

The hospitality is like no other! The staff goes above and beyond for their guests!

Staff and spa were wonderful. Nice location and amenities. The meal wasn't great at Breckenridge Brewery. Wish the other restaurant was open as well on Sunday and Monday, the only negative.

We stayed at the hotel since it was hosting a conference we attended. The bar and restaurant were convenient. The room was comfortable. A few little things were noticed: the USB plug was broken, and there was a little mold in the shower. The hot tub was a little murky, but I still got in it.

The front desk clerk was amazing! So helpful and friendly! She made you feel as if you were her only guest she had!

I wished there were more option of things to buy in the convenience store (.e.g. deodorant, toothpaste)

We discussed cancelling the rest of our plans and just spending all day in the hotel. It is a great place and the people were great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Especially want to thank Jess at the valet desk for helping us troubleshoot some car issues. He really went above and beyond!

The hotel was quiet and the staff was very nice. They could improve on their cleanliness. The coffee maker was unusable because of the dirtiness. The games in the game room had missing pieces. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. Spa and pool and hot tub were very nice and relaxing.

I needed early check-in. They were at capacity but got me a room asap and communicated at every step. Also provided for a few extra requests quckly without being treated as a burden

Beautiful property with great amenities!

Limited dining options. I arrived at 730pm and only one restaurant was opened. This should be prime dinner time.

Restaurants and room service were very helpful, but over priced for what you get. Pool, gym facilities, mini-fridge and coffee maker were great and the bed very comfortable. The grounds where great for walks, but hotel is not within walking distance to anything.

I’m absolutely furious, this booking was made on the wrong date in error, I reached out to both the booking company and hotel within 24 hours and both refused to refund or reschedule the booking and straight up stole my money.

Pretty much my day was pretty good. Food was a little expensive but still very good. The only complaint I had is I could not call down to the desk for whatever reason from my room.

Diann was excellent with information and the process of check in. Rooms very clean although we called for room cleaning on our 3rd day since we were going to be out of the room and nobody came. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Beautiful place and we enjoyed our room with a balcony and Mountain View. Thank you!
