A good hotel but not the best I've stayed at. It is definitely starting to show age, carpets stained throughout and fixtures look worn and dated. Parking is not free, but it's cheap enough that if your staying a night or two that it ain't a big deal. On my night stay, I saw a lot of trash left in the hallways from guests, and by next morning, much of it was still there. Overall there is plenty of places to go around the hotel for food and shopping. Personally, I would not prefer to stay again because I have been to nicer, updated hotels with amenities in the area. But if you want a relatively clean, but dated, comfortable room and don't want much in terms of what the hotel offers, I would recommend it.

The room was not cleaned well. The was hair on the nightstand, food crumbs and a dirty sink.

The housekeeping needs to drastically improve! Everything else was ok.

The hotel was a great choice overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Brent at the front desk specifically. The room was spacious and beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like about the room was there were no microwaves available for use. They said it was a community microwave downstairs that everyone could use. That was very disappointing. But I still would stay here again because it was a beautiful hotel with many close conveniences like shopping, dining, and freeway access.

There were 3 trash cans in the room, none of which had a bag in them. There was no soap to wash your hands in the bathroom. There was long black or brown hair ask over the floor and in the shower. And two finger steaks of a blood or feces marks on the sheets of the bed.

A few notes that I somehow missed in the fine print: 1) internet is not free if you book through a 3rd party like Hotels.com. it's 14.95 a night, but I think I was only charged for 1 of the 2 nights I stayed. 2) even though they control their own parking garage and it had plenty of empty spaces, parking costs $9 a night. I missed the notice in the fine print when I booked, but discovered in the info i was sent that there would be an $8 charge. Not a huge deal, but accurate info is nice to have.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Westin Lombard. Everything was super clean, and the lobby was absolutely beautiful—bright, welcoming, and stylish. The location couldn’t be better, with tons of restaurants and shops just minutes away. Plus, being only about 40 minutes from Chicago made it easy to pop into the city without staying in the middle of the hustle. Great spot all around.

One of the pillow cases had makeup on it. That made me wonder if any of the pillow cases had been washed. The shower gel in the bathroom was empty. The parking lot had to be completely cleared out for some kind of maintenance, but we were not informed. I had to ask why it was cordoned off. Then I asked them to remove the parking fee, which they said they did. When I checked my bill, they had changed me for parking. All in all, a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Requested a room with a walk in shower as I have a broken foot and am wearing a walking boot. Was told none were available but online through the hotels own website it showed they were and were bookable for my entire stay. Rude front desk staff. Probably will never stay there again. This hotel has gone down hill for sure

Our pillows were gross, the beds were uncomfortable and old. We brought the pillows to front desk to show, the didn't compensate us for the nasty pillows, we were told by the manager they were going to compasate us 50000 points that we never received.

During my recent stay, the public areas appeared more worn compared to my previous stay 4 years prior. In particular, hallways showed signs of heavy use (spotted/worn carpet, chipped doors, dings and dents in walls, floorboard damage). I was surprised that these areas presented themselves rather poorly.

Our room was spacious, extra clean and a great view. We hope to get a view facing East next time. There is also plenty to do in the area, we felt it was centrally located. We are definitely coming back!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, check in was easy. The hotel was very nice, the room was clean, and well kept. It was also a very good price point for on a weekend. My significant other and I stayed here for a concert in Chicago and really enjoyed the area as well. It’s just far enough to be out of the city but close enough that it’s a quick 30 minutes over to downtown. Overall no complaints and would highly reccomend to anyone considering it.

Noisy room by elevators, every time they go up or down you can hear this whooshing, wind like noise and our room was not behind a wall from the elevators, there was a hallway separating us. Wall plug stopped working near the bed along with a lamp that was not working no matter which plug i plugged it into.

Comfortable bed, clean room, we asked for a dental kit and they gave us the cheapest toothbrush ever. The bristles get stuck on your teeth when you use them. Otherwise, comfortable bed.

Don’t forget your swim suit. The pool is one of the best indoor pools I have seen from a hotel. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Otherwise, I would not have chosen Westin as my go to hotel when in the area.

Front desk experience felt rushed. The hotel had a large convention group with lots of kids and teens. Could not use any of the amenities. Noise on the floors and rooms every night and morning blasting music. Teens going up and down the elevators overcrowding and stopping every floor. , bathroom light kept flashing, shower door crackling. Had to complain twice about the noise.

Clean and nice. Just need a lot of updating, especially for the price that’s charged.

However, I would suggest a couple of improvements. First, it would be great if some reception staff could enhance the quality of their welcome by being more friendly and smiling more often at guests. A warm attitude really makes a difference. Secondly, I would recommend offering Wi-Fi as a complimentary service rather than making it chargeable. Aside from these points, everything else was excellent.

It is a party hotel. A lot of kid parties and guests at pool who were not hotel guests. Also encounted "dancers" in the elevator after leaving a suite down the hall talking about yhe gig they just finished and trying to promote their services to another guest in the elevator. Elevator mechanics are loud as well. Our room wasnt even near the elevators but heard them running all night and early morning. Location is good, pool is big, but just not the type of vibe i was expecting.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us get the perfect room with my two little girls. The room wasn't as clean as I expected but I would stay there again. Breakfast was good and convenient.

The most comfortable beds in any hotel I’ve slept in. Great room service. Right next to the movie theater, shopping and plenty of dining options. Great location. Many floors and rooms are in great disrepair though. Pool needs attention to detail.

The staff did not honor the $50 fee for the late checkout I had requested and got the fee on the phone. They charged me $100! They continually wanted to find ways to rip you off.

The room was terrible, every single wing of this entire complex melt terrible. The beds don't have comforters. The mattresses are made ou.t of paper. The pillows are made out of paper. Did I mention the place smells like crap? I'm an Indian American and there are Indian Americans running this joint so it's not a racist comment but this is definitely low budget. They're not paying phone bills so the phones don't work in most rooms and everything about this place is just we're trying to keep it open at the lowest overhead possible. It's terrible it's a hotel and there is a hole where my refrigerator is supposed to be. There's a motel 6 across the street. If I knew the hotel was going to be so garbage, I would have just gone to motel 6 at this point. You've seen this statement before but I'm going to repeat it. If I could give zero stars I would. The only benefit is that they're pet friendly breakfast s*** there is gambling in the main hall for the convention and conference center. This place is advertised as a professional suite and conference hotel. When you walk in. It smells terrible in every square inch of every part of the complex. The amenities are non-existent and if you want to have breakfast, do it next to a bunch of trash that's gambling. I recommend -1,000 out of 10

It's been awhile since I last stayed here, but one thing that surprised me, is they charged $9.00 per day for parking outside - not the parking deck. (Most hotels in an outlying area such as this still Do Not Charge a Parking Fee)

While the room was visually well-maintained and in decent condition, my stay was impacted by a few functional issues. Upon entering, there was a persistent stale odor that made the space feel less than fresh. Additionally, the television was unusable due to a flickering screen, which I eventually had to turn off. With a bit more attention to air quality and equipment maintenance, the room would be much improved.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the check in, or the staff. I love the westin lombard. I just know for next not to accept the room by the elevators. It was really loud, you could here everyone coming off and on the elevators. You can also hear the elevators running, it sounded like ghosts in the room. Other than that it was a great stay.

This was my first stay at The Westin and overall it was just ok. I was disappointed with the room, there was no clock, no hand towel bar or ring, and it was odd to place Kleenex over the toilet. Speaking of the toilet, it was really low and was more fitting for a child’s restroom. There were no luggage carts. The staff were not friendly. We were not greeted upon entry. No one offered to assist with our luggage, even though, it was visibly difficult managing without a luggage cart.

It was in a convenient location, quiet rooms, ladies at the desk acted professional and nice, and i like the safety feature in the elevator where you have to use the room key to get to your floor. I didnt get to enjoy the sauna or gym, it was not easy to locate.

Even when faced with a room that someone had smoked in, David at the front desk did everything to get us into a room that was clean and comfortable. The staff is fantastic and the dog path is huge convenience.

Room 415 just shows the top of the 4th floor and a horrible view. This room is also right next to the elevator so you can hear the foot traffic. The internet sign in said it was free for guest but we’re charged when checking out. Room 417 tub has a slow drain when getting out of the tub.

The beds were uncomfortable, the temperature wasn’t getting cool enough for comfort. My shower wasn’t working correctly. There was no social area as we were told the patio with table and chairs was closed for the season making it hard for our group to socialize without being in the room.

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, our experience was fantastic. Friendly staff, clean hotel and our room was great! Very secure environment and dining right inside the hotel. Harry Carey’s is a wonderful place and the staff there was also very nice.

The phone and lighted mirror in the bathroom did not work. Only one bedside table has an outlet or place for charging devices. Other than those minor observations, excellent stay. The gym was great, the pillows were comfortable, and the room smelled and looked extremely clean. Stunning sunset views on the 9th floor. Would be happy to come back!

Scraps and scratches on the walls look like a party was in the room, still tape on the ceiling from where decorations use to be and scratched paint off the walls, needed to be better dusted countertops look like they haven't been dusted in a while.

My overall stay was pleasant, nothing to feel upset about. The one thing I can point out was that the room could've been a little more clean. The large window sill had cup marks and dust was in most surfaces. I thought this was going to be adress after my first night, but it wasn't. On my second day the cold water to the room became extremely hot, i made a call to service and the issu was resolved in a matter of hours. Other than that, the crew was really friendly and the lobby was welcoming.

This is the second time we've stayed here and the parking continues to be difficult. Despite paying for the parking, it was impossible to find a place to park after a long day and we had to drive around for 30 minutes and wait until someone left to be able to park.

It’s mold growing around the tub, there was no bags in the garbages. I get out the garbage and an old guest wrote not clean on the window so when the steam hit I seen it, meaning it still hasn’t been clean. Staff were amazing friendly, easy check in. I was disappointed check out was at noon an we got a knock on the door (while the do not disturb sign was on it) at 11:20 for house cleaning.

I booked a king suite they gave me queen only addressed the issue after i realized it wasnt right...still didnt change the room...you have to ask for your heater to be turned on...i was cold 2 nights

My room had a vague odour of stale cigarette smoke but otherwise I found both service and facilities to be very good. Having arrived on the evening of Labour Day I was a little disappointed not be able to get dinner that evening

Peaceful and needed

Checked in on a Wednesday they claimed not to have my room ready they put me in an ADA (disabled room) claiming that’s all they had available which was a LIE. They put me with a pool view that smelled like chlorine the room had NO AC, the fridgerator didn’t work, and the pipes spewed out brown stuff. I asked the front desk to move me and showed me videos one lady laughed, the other said she needed to talk to a manager the manager called a Thursday evening around 8pm left a message said she had another room available when I got back to the hotel I went straight to the front desk to say they had nothing and when trying to contact the manager they play games with Expedia and myself!!! Over $800 should of been a $50 stay will not stay here again Expedia can’t even recoup the money I spent because of this even with video footage

Arrived at night. Only one person at the desk. We were 2nd in line, followed by 3 or 4 others. Your representative was busy at the other end of the check-in area, totally oblivious that there were other customers trying to check in. Someone behind us made the comment "I think he's trying to get a date". We all agreed. The subject of his interest finally looked over and said "oh, am I holding everything up"? The hero in our line exclaimed LOUDLY, "YOU THINK"?????

Hard to believe a place like this would just keep tacking on charges. Parking? Internet? Water? Especially when things like the shower doesn't work.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The parking was ample and not terribly expensive. The bed linens were slippery and fell off during the toss and turns of sleep. Our mini fridge was broken - but I am confident they would have repaired it if we had asked. We did not dine on the property.

Great hotel that ultimately failed in comfort. Bed and pillows were not great at all. Shower had no pressure at all.

Check in was not the greatest for me, the room was dirty, had hair and stuff in the bed. Went downstairs was given a “better & upgraded room” just for it to be dirtier than the previous and have trash on the nightstands. The third room, not only had hair in the bed and tub but the toilet was leaking. Overall, the hotel staff was nice and I was compensated but to be a Westin/Marriott hotel I expected much more especially for the price. I loved the location of the hotel as it was next to a mall and tons of food options. We were able to get to downtime pretty quickly too.

The property is bit run down, the bathroom tiles were loose in the restroom. Even though there were a lot great options, room service did not come the first day. The room service options did not appetizing at all. It was very nice area but the hotel needs to renovate for the price. No complimentary water at the front desk, the hotel staff was just ok.

Close to the office I was visiting, very friendly staff, the housekeeper on my floor was so pleasant as well. 17th floor morning of 7/16.

It was a good check in experience. However, I requested a microwave, unable to provide. I need to check out early morning due to an urgent event meeting, no cart available. For a big hotel like this, the lady in the reception area said “she saw one earlier but I don’t know, maybe that still inside their room” no other solution offered, I brought each of my luggage and things by myself manually

The staff at this location is top notch. The rooms were okay. Base boards needs major cleaning. I stayed here 6 nights and will definitely return. Housekeeping is amazing! 4.7 out of 5.

Clean, comfortable. Good location.

Check in at 3pm but our room wasn't ready till 4:30pm

There wasn't really anything unique to us about the hotel. I didn't like the fact that there was not a microwave in the rooms. The housekeeping was superb-they did the bare minimum with cleaning our room.

Everything about this day was great, including the staff and the beautiful location of this hotel

Beautiful lobby and the parking was convenient. It also has a mall/shopping within walking distance. Definitely worth the price.

Very dirty pillows and sheets, it’s like everywhere i looked even on the supposed “clean sheets” there was a stain, just trifiling. Service was iffy, was getting some weird vibe from the people inside.

And were given a Double bed room Was noisy and felt the cleanliness could have been Better.

Great Property. Rooms are clean and comfortable, views are pretty decent. Plenty of Dining and shopping options available. Awesome staff!
