Very helpful staff. They went out of their way to ensure we had help with a taxi back to the airport & very quick to replace the blow dryer when it didn’t work. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family.

Convenient location for us. We had two rooms. One room was fine: clean, with comfortable beds. The other one, however, had a horrible smell, like dirty laundry. It seemed to be coming from the AC unit. There was also a stain on the bedding. The other thing I hated was the overwhelming artificial fragrance that permeated the entire lobby area. It was coming from an electric unit on the wall. I wish hotels would realize that these fake fragrances are nothing but chemicals and are toxic to our bodies. We don't need to be breathing that stuff. Just clean your hotel and leave the fake fragrance out of it.

When I arrived the Gentleman at the front desk was very polite and gave the room key, when I opened the door I was surprised room was all duty, washroom was duty too, when I came down and told him, he was embarrassed and gave me another room, came up with me to make sure room was clean, also stop at the dirty room and took pictures and again he apologized , he was very nice and polite with me his name was Patrick

The bed was horrible, the window shade was broken and had to be kept closed, the lights were extremely bright in the room so we turned them off, the shower was not great. I was ready to leave

Less Expensive for Chicago area The intense synthetic air freshener in the lobby and hallways . I couldn’t spend any time in the lobby, so I couldn’t get breakfast I tried to stay here before but they also had fresheners in the rooms and I had to leave This time the room wasn’t filled with air freshener ,so I could stay And booking says it’s 34 minutes out of Chicago but with traffic each commute was 60+ minutes out

The hotel was nice. The elevator bounced when the door opened. The snacks at night were hard to access without the staff helping. There was only one person working the desk. But we were happy that there was someone to help us register when we got there very late at night

Checking in was easy and room was semi clean. The blanket in the closet was covered in food and super dirty. Saw a sign that said water maintenance would be over at 12pm. Checked in at 3pm, water still didn't work until 4pm. It was very inconvenient.

Good: Location was great, parking was easy. Property was quiet. Bad: We were given keys to one room and the room wasn’t cleaned so we had to be moved to another room. When we turned on the faucet to shower brown water came streaming out.

i used to live in the West Suburbs of Chicago and am very familiar with this area which is why I chose this particular property thinking it would be a nice comfortable place to stay while home visiting my family. Unfortunately I cannot give more than 2 stars. I was very disappointed by how outdated this property was! Everything, furniture, bed, the bathroom, shower...old! I couldn't even charge my watch because there was no USB port. The staff was nice and friendly, the hallways and elevators needed cleaning. Although I didn't expect a 5 star hotel considering it's Best Western, I did expect nicer, upgraded and more modern amenities.

This is a hidden treasure- low price with good amenities including free breakfast and refrigerator and microwave in room. We've stayed there several times and will continue to do so when we're in the area. Staff is so friendly and helpful, too :) Beds are great, but their pillows are very firm so bring your own if that's a problem for you.

This stay was amazing the property was well maintained the staff was amazing helpful always asking how’s everything do you need anything is there anything I can do to make your stay better you don’t get that often and the price was reasonable great actually and the breakfast was amazing something for everyone chicken sausage turkey sausage eggs oatmeal pancakes waffles yogurt fresh whole fruit only thing I found is no non dairy cream for lactose intolerance people but I carry my own because this is a problem everywhere I have stayed so maybe they could at that but overall no complaints and I will definitely be staying here again loved it👍👏❤️

Great place, clean, quiet, nice bed, sheets, pillows, and a powerful shower head...perfect. If you arrive at night, you might encounter Patrick at the front desk. Probably the best hotel staff member....EVER!

Upon booking, there are clearly 2 very different types of rooms - remodelled rooms and older, not so nice looking rooms. There is also a very clear price difference between the two. I booked a remodelled room and paid the according price. When I arrived at the property, they put me in an old room that was not remodelled. I immediately went back to the front desk and showed my booking and informed the lady that the room she put me in was not what I booked nor what I paid for. She told me they were out of the remodelled rooms for the night and that I would have to pay the difference to be place in a remodelled room with 2 double beds (I originally booked a Queen bed remodelled room). I was falsely sold a room and forced to pay extra at the hotel for essentially the same thing. Terrible experience and will never be booking here again. Very deceptive room listings, if you book a remodelled room, know that it’s not guaranteed EVEN IF YOU PAY EXTRA, and they will tell you it’s first come first serve. Save your money and book elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

The tub drain was full of old hair and other stuff and the water wouldn't go down when showering. I had to get the stuff out and reshower. I showed a picture to the front desk, she told me next time call the front desk, wow!

The scenery, it was clean, low noise level. Except stair traffic I didn't want a conjoining room with anyone.

If you are traveling to Chicago I found this to be an excellent place. I stayed there two time and found it a very nice place, with free parking, and complimentary breakfast. Highly recommended if you are looking for a budget stay.

The property felt safe and secure.

The lighting was difficult to deal with. Those bulbs that are almost blue light emitting, not warm or soft at all. I had about 3 spiders that dropped down from the ceiling. The room seemed old, but was newly painted, in bright white. When I turned the heat unit on. It smelled like urine, but the next day it was better. Maybe the room had just been empty for awhile. Overall, the second day was 4 star. The first a two star. Front staff was very nice and helpful. I didn't complain to them. I figured it wasn't their fault.

Everything was excellent, except for the pillows. They were tall and hard. Bought one at Walmart for a few bucks, problem solved. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the hot breakfast was excellent. Bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, pancakes, pastries and cereal. For the price, it exceeded expectations.

The rooms are always clean when I visit this hotel. Only one person was on shift when I checked in. The gentlemen was overwhelmed when six guest showed up at the same time. Check in took more than 30 minutes so at least one other person was needed. Other than that my experience with the hotel was good.

The room was very clean along with the bathroom. Updating needed, but a clean room, bedsheets, & towels are more important than the furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the staff and cleaning crew were very friendly. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

The room was very clean and has comfortable beds. The staff was friendly. We're very happy with the big selection of food, waffles, pancakes, cereals, bagels and much more. We never had a problem finding a parking spot, even on the night we came strolling in at 3:30 A.M.

Breakfast was the standard fare, although there was scrambled eggs and one meat option (sausage gravy, sausage patty, crispy bacon or chicken sausages were what I had) which changed every day. Coffee and hot/cold water was available every day all day.

The property was very clean, including the rooms, and the breakfast was decent. Parking was easy and convenient, and the overall value for the price was excellent. I will definitely choose to stay here again whenever needed.

The staff at the front desk were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about guests feeling comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the breakfast—there’s a make-your-own waffle and pancake station, and everything tasted fresh. Such a nice way to start the day! I also loved the 24-hour coffee bar, which is a huge bonus. The lobby is beautiful and relaxing, with a nice TV area, and the entire hotel has this clean, almost aromatherapy-like scent that makes it feel calm and inviting the moment you walk in. Another great perk—Netflix in the room! That was such a fun surprise. Plus, the location is super convenient, especially being so close to Target. Overall, super clean, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities. I would absolutely stay here again! (And a Huge parking lot.)

First night a lot of noise from a child in the hallway at 5 am otherwise it was an affordable option near the pricier hotel nearby where i was at a conference - I like having breakfast as part of it makes every thing easier

The staff was very courteous, nice, professional and helpful. The room was fairly clean, visibly, I did find a piece of trash on the floor near the trash can and there was hair in the tub. Also the tub and sink both drained really slow, But when I informed the front desk they sent somebody up right away to clear any clogs so they drained properly. I went to the hotel just to have a small, personal getaway and some quiet time. It worked well due to the proximity of my home and nearby stores but I could hear quite a bit of the other guests in the room above or below me which made it not so quiet. Overall it wasn't bad and I was able to relax and be comfortable.

My favorite spot to stay for the Glazier Clinic football conference in Oak Brook. I usually stay here twice a year love the location and the amenities of the hotel. Their stay is always courteous and helpful.

I really loved my stay at the hotel. The staff was nice, the lobby was always clean and you could smell the cleanliness each time you walked in the building. My only issue was my microwave in the room didn't work. I put in a maintenance request to get it looked at but no one came to my room. There was a microwave in the lobby which was a nice alternative.

This is the best value in the Chicagoland area. Sure you can get a fancier hotel but for the dollar this is where I stay and will continue to stay when I visit Oak Brook Lombard area. The manager and Selena are fantastic. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, which I did stay at last week, but this is a great place when you wanna pay less than $100 for a night at a hotel.

Items went missing, management avoided, speaking with me and kept me on hold for a while over 25 minutes. The entire phone call lasted over 45 minutes, and they refused to check the cameras.

I enjoyed my stay only regret was no hot tub or pool.

We are extending our time here in Chicagoland area & the Sure Stay+ Best Western & its Front desk staff are A-1. Including Full Breakfast with multiple Protein choices & Housekeeping on point.

Breakfast was great (pancakes, waffles, eggs cereal, toast, sausage or bacon etc). Staff was great, I see the same faces on my visits. Restaurants expensive to non expensive in the area. Shopping center is nearby. I can not say enough nice things about this place.

Great place to stay in Lombard. Surestay is very quiet and peaceful with excellent customer service. Check in and check out were quick and easy. I went there with my partner for 4 days. Ernesto and Patrick have excellent customer service skills and made our stay even more enjoyable. They were nice,friendly, helpful and funny. I really enjoyed talking to them.The only complaint I have is the eggs for breakfast they were not that good but it still didn't take away from everything else. I will definitely return.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving. The room was very reasonably priced. Got a king. New room. Very clean. Very comfy. The breakfast was what you’d expect. Nothing special but in no way is that bad. Would definitely stay here again.

Moment you walk in it smells clean (but not chemically or bleachy) & looks well taken care of. Loved the fact the shower head pressure was adjustable. Breakfast was delicious with a pancake maker i had never seen before. Only 2 down sides: 1 beds are very firm & limited parking spaces.

The Front Desk girl had an attitude and tried to put us in one of their old worn out rooms when I specifically booked an updated renovated room. We went back to the front desk asking again for an updated room that we reserved.She said there were none available. She refused to give us a refund so we can go somewhere else, stating that because it was booked through Expedia she would not be refunding our money. Husband asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one. He negotiated with her until finally he got us the renovated room we had booked from the website. We do not recommend this hotel as they do not honor reservations booked but bait and switch you to a small old worn out room at their whim. Terrible experience.

It was clean and quiet, staff were friendly. The one thing that was off was that the photos for the hotel showed an updated, modern interior. That is not the room we got. Our room looked like it hadn’t been updated since the late 80s. So that was disappointing. That aside, everything else was good.

I had a nice stay at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Lombard. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast had a good variety. When my room wasn’t cleaned one night, Patrick at the front desk was very helpful — he gave me fresh towels right away and confirmed that my room would be cleaned the next day. Really appreciated his friendly attitude and great service!

Room was aged and had a rusty nail sticking up out of torn carpet on which I stepped and screamed. It did not break skin and I reported it. Not convinced that they will fix it. Whole hotel had a toxic odor and the water, including water in container at breakfast tasted horrible. We were awakened by dogs barking and whining in room next to us at 6 am on first day. Called front desk and person tried to sort it out as best as he could. Nice people though. Food quality was low.

Very clean. Strong wifi and decent complimentary breakfast. Wasn't a fan of how loud the air handler was and the shape of the floor of the tub made for an uncomfortable shower. The bed was also a bit too firm for me. All in all, I would stay here again. The pros outweigh the cons

The room smelled of marijuana when we checked in, but we were in a rush to get to an event and didn't have time to change it. Later that night when we settled in, we noticed the ceiling leaking. We called the desk and Patrick was spectacular about getting us a new room and taking great care of us!

The kind sized bed room on the 4th floor I was provided did not match the advertised room I chose on expedia.ca - it was outdated, old carpeted floor, old bathtub which also pooled the water immediately while showering. I booked the room because the picture showed updated amenities, floor not carpet etc - big disappointment for me as an allergy sufferer.

For the price, I did not expect the Ritz, so given that, the room was up to standard, I was happy with the room, comfortable bed, very clean, heating and air conditioning worked well. My husband and I didn’t like the breakfast, there were a lot of food options, but taste is subjective, and it’s just not something we liked. A lot of people did seem to enjoy it though. Parking was good unless we got in really late at night, then it was a little hard to find, but the good thing is they have parking passes that they give all guests so people from neighboring hotels or the restaurant cannot park there.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoy the selection of items for breakfast.this is our "go to" place when we're in town.

Parking was easy, although having to put a parking pass in my window was a bit much when what is available is a surface lot in a western suburb. Still, the facility is very, very clean, seems to have had an upgrade to the finishes recently, and was very quiet. All in all, I would stay there again.

Everything was superb, except for the painfully slow draining of the bathroom sink. After less than a quart of water, te sink began to backup. It would drain ... eventually.

Our stay was only one night for a funeral. The day after we checked out we notice we left something bc. It was hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Nothing we can’t replace, but I did call and the person who answered said they would check and get back to us. Never heard anything so called back the next day. This person who answered said they would check. He came back on the phone and said he could find nothing. Obviously whomever cleaned the room found it. The question is what did they do with it.

The front office staff was friendly enough. I had to change rooms twice soon after check-in because the first two rooms had flies flying all over the place. These first two rooms were on higher floors with rooms that had yet to be remodeled. The staff member quickly changed my room both times and, placed me in a recently remodeled room on a lower floor. This third room was perfectly clean and comfortable. I had no issues with my stay after that.

Room was nice and clean in the bed was very comfortable king size bed. I love the hot water when taking a shower. The only thing I ask is that you make breakfast and at 9:30 a.m. 9:00 is very very early to be ending breakfast. Other than that my stay there was great.

The staff were very helpful. We booked the stay as we had a funeral to attend to, and it offered what we primarily needed - a clean and safe place to sleep during the night. No complaints here.

Made mention that our room's sink needed attention as it didn't drain well. I have no doubt it will get fixed. My only change would be softer pillows! Too hard and too high to sleep on. Gave up and went without a pillow.

I don’t really have any complaints. I thought it was pretty nice. The only issue I can see is if somebody wasn’t able to stand very well. The bathtubs are really tight. It’s almost like you can’t stand flat on the ground.
