There wasn’t any breakfast options like the advertisement said.

Clean hotel but in the Expedia website they made a point about breakfast included. This hotel was about $14 higher that similar hotels within a mile and I choose it because of the convenience of having breakfast instead of looking for a breakfast place in a new city. After contacting Expedia a few days ago, I still get the run around and to make it more painful, it still advertise free breakfast

This motel is poorly maintained with trash and mud in the hallways and parking lot. Landscaping is unkempt. Room was not well cleaned with dirty corners even in the bathroom. Towels were poor quality. No soap, shampoo. Furniture is old and scuffed up. It did not smell bad. I was surprised by a $100 service charge for our 2 dogs which I do not think was on the website. Choice Hotels should consider dropping this hotel.

AC was not cool , floors was slick and sticky, no coffee pot and no Breakfast as advertised

Upon arrival my non smoking room was a smoking room. Finally get them to change it after they said they couldnt. The 1st room the key wouldnt unlock so the manager had to unlock with his manual key. He said he could just let me in every time i needed in my room. I requested a different room. He finally agreed. The 2nd room reaked of cigarettes. The blanket had cigarette holes all over it. He said it was a nonsmoking room. The microwave was diagusting. It dropped in the 50s at night and the heat did not work so i froze all night. It advertises free breakfast which is one of the reasons i picked them and there is no breakfast at all at the location. Very horrible experience. Probably the worst place i have ever stayed at.

Terrible. No breakfast even though it was mentioned that breakfast is included in the booking. The bedsheets and towels were not properly clean. No paper napkins were available as well to use instead of using the dirty towels. There was no water bottle/coffee/tea were available as well in the room. Only provided a single soap for 2 people's stay.

Also we booked a double bed which would allow for 4 people. Yet we were only given 1 towel, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel which were so thin you'd have a hard time drying yourself. No bath soap, hair shampoo. Very thin toilet paper. Also, 7 am and no coffee or any food was prepared. The room was spacious.

Not safe at all

The floors were very dirty in the room & the sink & bathtub drains were loaded with hair etc.….

This is after a night of discovering our sheets looked dirty and asking for new sheets (around 9pm) but being told the laundry room was closed and we were out of luck. No trashcan in the bathroom, so certain feminine supplies have to be thrown out in the room. A baseboard was against the wall but not attached. Towels were paper thin and no washclothes. All this and the police were filling the parking lot for some incident when we came back from dinner. Cancelled the second night of our stay and couldn't get out fast enough.

Drug heads and prostitutes hanging around. Gun shots. Room hot, ac didnt work good. Stained bedding. Bed was horrible. Just local cable, no extras. Definitely do not recommend.

Room looked dirty and trash was in room on sink counter. Floor did not appear to have been swept. Took almost 15 minutes of ringing bell to get clerk to come to desk to check in, then he tried to collect a $20 cash only security deposit. Also, despite advertised continental breakfast there was no breakfast, not even coffee and when we asked we were told the ice machine had not worked in over two years!

The people at the desk have no regard for the guests. The room was absolutely filthy when I got there. It was late and I was completely exhausted so i took pics of it to show the front desk. It was all I could do to just get sheets so I could sleep on top of the blankets. One gentleman said he could order me one. The bedding had mystery stains as well as obvious stains from a large dog (paw prints). The only employee there who even so much as smiled was the housekeeper. I'm typically very polite and I'm not one to complain. I only continued my full stay there because I had already paid for it.

Im not typing everything that I experienced with this place. Just know that its not safe. Its not clean. Its not family friendly. Its not healthy. Its not worth the time, trouble or money.

Didn't care for the are

They falsely advertised free breakfast. House keeping didn't properly clean room from last guest. Spoiled milk was left in the refrigerator. There wasn’t any tissue or big towels for shower.

the hotel was nasty they did not have any towels in it in the restroom they were very disrespectful and I was charged extra money that came out of my car they never came back on my car and I'm trying to get my money back on my card

Expedía say that they have free breakfast and they don't. That cost us about 17 more to get food outside the hotel.

During our stay at the Econo Lodge we found the bed linens were not changed there was stains all over the bed sheets. The microwave was not cleaned out the floors were really dirty. I got in the bed and looked at my feet and they were black from walking on the floor. They offered on the site free breakfast and coffee. There was no free breakfast or coffee. We feel like we were overcharged for the room because they didn't have any toiletries the towels were dirty stained. We had to go down and get more towels because they didn't have enough towels in the room. I called and talked to the front desk the morning and she was very rude on the phone. We did stay an extra night due to travel but the guy that worked the front desk night shift was very polite and accommodating the best he could do. We asked him for shampoo and conditioner he said that they didn't have any. And he called to make sure that we can get some from the hotel next door. We would like to give him 5 stars due to him going above and beyond to try to help us with accommodating our needs woman staying there. He has excellent customer service skills and again he was very polite..

Was the worst

I was very disappointed with this property. The only nice thing about the property was the pleasant young lady from housekeeping, Eleicia Turner. The room I reserved for 6 nights was advertised as having a sleeper sofa. There was a loveseat that did not have a bed in it. There was breakfast, neither full nor continental. I went and bought light bulbs.Front desk staff was not pleasant and there was somewhat of a language barrier with guy who checked me in. The room was VERY DUSTY & DIRTY. The lamps were rusty. I had to clean the room before I could sleep in it.

There were many people that hung out around the property at night and would follow and stare at me. The room was very unclean- our sheets had blood stains and there were hairs everywhere. Also, breakfast was promised and that was a major reason why i booked the place, and they didn’t serve any AT ALL. It was a scam and i felt very unsafe there. Do not stay here.

People where hateful. It in a rough neighborhood. The place was not clean at all. Just make bed and sweep up that it. The shower was not clean. Mold on the shower curtain.

The sheets were filthy. Bed & couches were torn apart with holes & stains. Mattress had so many old stains. Brought my own blanket inside just to sit down. Should have gotten a refund. A complete waste of money.

I don’t know where you got that picture from but the room didn’t look like that. It was a bit I love seat and a desk, TV and refrigerator and a microwave. The sink leaked all over the floor. They gave you the sheet on the fitting sheet and the other sheet of blanket in, not even comfort or spray it two towels and one tissue that look like for baby you had to go back and get it every day or made to bring it up made was really nice. She really helped bugs flying every time you look up they go outside. They said they had breakfast, but they don’t so I had to keep going out the bathroom in the morning . A lot of activity people walking all night long in the walk way in the hallways of the stairs. It was a motel, not a hotel. It was shame. I wish I could’ve got my money back, but I couldn’t. They said I had to talk to you all and I know that wasn’t gonna happen so I had to bite the bullet and stay there, but it was terrible. I went there to help my son who had a stroke , and I had to bring him There with me. It was a challenge. I don’t want to ever do that again. I couldn’t stay there by myself and I really didn’t want him to be there in case we had to defend myself. That would’ve been a bad situation. Again, I wish I could’ve got my money back.

pool was listed, not open. room was not clean, beer bottle lid on floor and floor was filthy. no smoke detector, phone, alarm. 2nd room had these.

There were drugs being dealt on the corner and we saw several prostitutes walking the parking lot. About 4 am someone got our door open to our room. Thank god we had the extra lock.

Loud music, talking, and yelling all night. Watched one of the staff doing a drug deal the next morning while the cleaning lady stood watch. Breakfast was coffee or juice but online said continental breakfast but no food. Man at the front desk wanted me to pay cash for pet deposit instead of card. Would not recommend to anyone.

I requested a non smoking accessible room. Didn't get that. The electricity in the room didn't work, when I opened the door and tried to turn on the lights they didn't work. There were holes in the bedspread from cigarette burns, an ashtray on the table. There was no soap in the bathroom. They requested cash for the deposit for my dog and I said I had to pay it! Pretty sure they just pocketed that. They said they would move me to a different room and the reason why they didn't give me the rooms I asked for was because they were reserved for someone else. I said isn't that why I made a reservation? They didn't have a comment for that. I asked to leave said I didn't want to stay there and they didn't refund me. I made a claim to the insurance through Expedia and they denied it. Won't be doing that again. Do not ever stay here!!

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stay at. The floors looked they had not be mopped in years and there was urine underneath one of the sofas in the suite I stayed in, as well as blood on one of the pillows. Utterly filthy.

The shower curtains and towels were covered in mildew. The lamps were fire hazards, the AC/ heating unit was covered in mold. The hotel FALSELY ADVERTISED a free continental breakfast, as there was NO breakfast. A homeless man used the stairwell as a urinal, many times throughout our stay. 0/10 the absolute WORST hotel experience of my LIFE

I think it was rated 2.5. Did not have continental breakfast. When you call. No one answers the phone. So I probably not stay at that hotel again at this location No restaurant s around

We was warned when we pulled in that it was not a safe environment for the kids and I was held at knife point and they tried to steal my truck less than a block away.

They had NO breakfast as advertised. Dirty, smelly water in bathroom. Phone disconnected. NO wifi. Generally dirty and very noisy all morning long. Staff were not polite nor helpful. Key card was misprogrammed twice upon arrival. Sent helper up to open room and took us to three rooms before finding a room that the key happened to work on! Not secure at all. He had opened the other two rooms with a pass key and they were filthy anyway. Room we ended up with had all the problems above, plus a broken toilet seat and other issues they couldn't resolve. Wouldn't recommend this place if they paid someone to stay here. Avoid at all costs.

Dirty, had to pay an extra $35 for 'fees' that can only be done by cash even tho they had a card reader (seemed more like they were going to just pocket it). The room was supposed to be non smoking but had burn Markers (obviously from cigarettes) in the bedding and smelled like cigarettes. Said it had free breakfast but there was nothing. The staff where really slow which would not be that bad if it weren't for the very dangerous area outside in which I did not feel comfortable leaving my stuff alone. And to top it all off there was a missing fire alarm in our room.

It was great. We only needed the room for 3 hrs had a few guys and girls who wanted to do dirty things. Room worked great

There was unexpected cash deposit, the pool was down because they said it was cold outside(not in Memphis in July), and the elevator smelled of urine. Although, the room was very spacious, inwhich was the only upside.

I know you get what you pay for but come on! No shampoo, one soap, no cups. Online said breakfast, the reason we chose this motel. The breakfast was a to-go bag with candy in it! Nope. Nothing advertised. But young man at the desk was great.

The issue was really where we stayed at. It looked slummy and the other residents there seemed shady with smoking dope and other things and hanging outside. It got to the point where cops were called and took a few people in the back of the cars. From a hotel perspective, fine. From a location and surroundings, needless to say I tried getting out of there as soon as I could.

When i booked this stay i marked that we wanted continental breakfast. The lobby was not open and you had to ask for coffee and a to go bag breakfast. The 1st morning i went down to get coffee and breakfast and no one answered the door so i had to leave and go to gas station to get coffee. I didnt even bother the 2nd morning. The toilet seat didnt fit the toilet so when you set down it would slide from side to side and the whole toilet would tip forward. There was no soap or shampoo so thank goodness i had some with me or we would had to go buy some. The room was very nice and clean . Location was good.

Everything this is a horrible hotel. Read zero stars. I¿ll be complaining about it when I return from my trip.

No indoor swimming pool

The hotel had some really sketchy people hanging around the building in the evening. Did not feel safe at the hotel. The rooms were outdated and are in need of a deep clean. Lots of dirt, grime, and stains on EVERYTHING. Lights in our room did not work.

The stairways smell like piss. It’s quiet depending on what kind of people are next to you. The staff are very nice that’s the only thing the hotel has going on.

Disgusting room. Burn holes everywhere. Everything is very out of date and dirty. The ice machine doesn’t work. And the clerk made me CONTINUE driving after my arrival because they require a CASH pet fee for my dog. Nowhere does it say that online when booking.

Alright place

The furniture in the room was really dirty and the couch was broken, there was used syringe needles in the stairwell that was uncapped, homeless people were sleeping in the stairwells, and the heat/air unit worked on occasion. The lamp shades were broken and bent, there was no toiletries available in the room. For the price I paid for this room I fully expected it to be in better condition and cleaner. I was very unhappy with this experience and I do not recommend staying at this establishment.

I arrive here on the 24th, I get to the room bringing my luggage up the stairs because the elevator didn’t work , Once I got shuttle I noticed I did not have any heat so I called and front Desk she changed my room the room has heat but no hot water, I have been trying to reach out to you guys to help me I’ve been here two days no heat in one room no hot water in the room that I’m in now it’s been very difficult to be able to talk to someone and help me with this, I have been pretty much harassed by one of the front Desk worker telling me I will get put out my room if I don’t provide her credit card note I have paid for a week already and now I’m being threatened to get put out of the room if I don’t provide her with a credit card please someone help

The property was easy to find but the room was not clean, dirry towels, stained sheets, burn holes in blankets, floor not sweeped.

This place was terrible. The bed was like sleeping on a box spring. The floors were so dirty I had to wash my feet off after taking a shower before I could put my socks & shoes on. The sheets on the bed looks like it wasn’t changed. It was dirty. The small sofa looks soiled and stained so no sitting on that. However, for the low price and a big room, just have to make due.

Sheets had stains and holes in them. Bare Smoke detector wires hanging out of the ceiling. All the metal in the room was rusted and corroded. Shower had a ton of mildew on the shower curtain. Power went out during the middle of the night. Never again will I stay at an econolodge.

I have pictures of the mold on the ceiling the filthiest sheets I had ever seen in a hotel. It was horrible.

There was blood all over the wall and celings in one room along with roaches crawling. The second room had blood on the bed. Just very unsanitary and terrible. I asked for a refund and left.

It was kinda clean, but the floor made our socks filthy, the shampoo bottle had been opened and had something like tobacco in it, we could smell pot, especially in the bathroom, it was very noisy all night outside, and our family of 4 received 2 thin towels. There was no announcement on the site, at least that we saw, that the outdoor pool was closed and there was no breakfast.

The room was not clean! Hair on the bathroom floor, crumbs in the bed. I had an infant crawling and within seconds her feet were black from the floor being so dirty!! Would not recommend! No breakfast (which on the app it says they do. I usually don’t leave reviews but this hotel was so bad, I wanna save someone else from being dissatisfied. Not sanitized well at all.

Shower curtain had mildew on it. Bathroom floor didnt look like it had been cleaned and the bath mat looked like it had greasy foot prints on it. Refrigerator door seal had mold all across the top of it.

I would never book a stay there again. They took my deposit charged my credit card then cancelled my reservation. i filed a complaint with choice hotels tried to contact hotels.com and was on hold for over two hours. i was never able to reach someone. The service was rude, disrespectful and deceitful. They do not care about the guest.

Room was not clean even by pre COVID standards. No towels in room had to ask for them. Leftover coffee in pot and empty coffee supplies except for one empty coffee package. Room smelled might have been from rancid coffee. Only 1 bar hand soap none for shower. Never will stay at another Econo Lodge again.

The room was very dirty and the furniture had stains on the fabric. The computer chair was completely broken and the mattress was very old and hard.

The actual room was nice and comfy. Sleeping in the room wasn't a problem. The issue was withe the front desk person telling someone our room number and we did not want that person there.

The receptionist asked for 40$ security deposit when I checked in but was argued from another receptionist who wasn't there when I checked in tell me I only gave $20. I asked to see the camera footage to prove I handed 40$ but the greedy old lady denied and kept stating I only gave 20. Long story short owners are a proud family to steal without customer support.

This hotel was the worst experience i have ever had traveling. Roaches, semen, mold, cig burns, pubes on the bed, and gun shot holes in the door. i swear i am not making this up. please do not be fooled this is the worst motel ever. we never even got refunded when we left. we could only last about 10 minutes. When we left someone watched us and i was very scared.

I did not like the dirty towels, sheets, and bathroom. I also was not fond of paying for extra guest known as roaches. The feeling of putting your shoes on and a big is inside is not very happy. I paid $72 on a Monday with a $50 deposit. I would not stay at this location again if someone paid me.

I actually liked it better the first time we stayed there 2 years ago for our honeymoon, this was our anniversary, this time was ok, they could do better on cleaning the microwave an refrigerator. The first person we talked to when we checked in was very nice an also the lady was nice, but the other 2 staff members they had on nights needs better people skills!! Kind of rude!! The activities that u see at night is something else!! I guess it’s to be expected.Also the house keeping lady was very friendly an nice , we had some towels that was not right and she brought us back some fresh clean ones, and made sure we didn’t need anything, also the nice man made sure we was good.Also the breakfast is not what we expected, especially on a Sat an Sunday morning,it could be a lot better, really! But all in all it was a ok stay, it was near a lot of good places to visit.Our stay was pretty good, minor things that was wrong , but it still was a good stay! I might go back!!
